Enough time to launch an entirely new business!

100 Celsius is a subscription growth consultancy helping clients grow and improve their recurring-revenue businesses. As the company grew, founder Bryan Starck wanted to build a stronger operation—one that could deliver excellent client work without depending so heavily on his personal involvement.

Too much of the business depended on the founder

For years, Bryan felt he needed to stay deeply involved in advisory and consulting engagements. His team was capable, but ownership and accountability were not yet structured in a way that allowed them to consistently take more responsibility with clients.

The goal wasn’t simply to scale for the sake of scaling. Bryan wanted to reduce the business’s reliance on him, reclaim time each week, and redirect that time toward higher-leverage work—including team training, coaching, and other strategic pursuits.

“I really struggled with, okay, how do I actually get my team to take on more ownership and accountability with our clients?”

Building the systems behind a more independent team

Bryan began working with Sean Lang and Agency Uplift to address the foundational parts of the business that are easy to overlook but essential for creating leverage.

Together, they clarified core values, strengthened team accountability, developed role scorecards, and introduced weekly and monthly accountability processes. They also created a more consistent rhythm for self-reporting and team meetings, replacing the seat-of-the-pants approach with a clear framework and repeatable system.

These weren’t flashy changes, but they gave 100 Celsius the structure it needed to operate more effectively without Bryan having to personally manage every detail.

More time for higher-leverage work

The new systems helped Bryan step back from a number of client engagements while giving his team more ownership and accountability. As a result, he was able to free up a meaningful amount of time each week.

Instead of being pulled into the day-to-day delivery of the business, Bryan could reallocate that time toward team training, coaching, and other opportunities with greater long-term value. For 100 Celsius, Agency Uplift created more than processes—it created the foundation for a less founder-dependent business.

“I’m a lot less personally involved in a number of our clients and I’ve been able to reallocate that time towards a number of things that I think are going to be a lot higher leverage.”

Bryan describes the engagement as a huge benefit to 100 Celsius and enthusiastically recommends Agency Uplift to other services businesses looking for more clarity, time, and growth.
