The AI Readiness Accelerator content hit the mark and the facilitation by Melissa was outstanding. As a leadership team, we walked away with practical tools and increased confidence to create an environment where our team can test and explore AI with appropriate guardrails.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the AI workshop delivered by Melissa Lloyd of Aigility Hub in Yarmouth on Thursday, April 9. The session was both timely and of significant professional value. Of particular importance was Ms. Lloyd’s clear and practical guidance on the foundational yet critical do’s and don’ts of using artificial intelligence. Her emphasis on practices that improve the reliability, accuracy, and overall quality of AI-generated outputs was highly relevant and immediately applicable to a Government of Canada context. The pace and delivery of the presentation were also noteworthy. The material was presented in a structured and accessible manner, allowing participants to meaningfully engage with complex subject matter without being overwhelmed. Given the rapid evolution of AI and the volume of information currently available, revisiting these fundamental principles cannot be overstated. A failure to fully understand and apply them appropriately may result in the generation of inaccurate information or the inadvertent disclosure of sensitive data, both of which carry serious implications. Overall, this workshop was well facilitated and provided valuable, practical insight. I would strongly support continued offerings of this nature, particularly those that focus on responsible and informed use of AI within the public service.

Melissa is very knowledgeable with AI. She speaks and works with you on easy terms, she learns about you, your business and what you need., then sends you in a great direction. Explaining every step along the way.

The AI Readiness Accelerator played a critical role in bringing our team together by bridging a wide range of individual experiences with artificial intelligence into a shared understanding and common language. Through a structured, practical approach, the program aligned leadership and staff around clear expectations, responsible use, and real‑world application, allowing us to move beyond experimentation toward purposeful implementation. By grounding AI in our daily work, values, and guardrails, the Accelerator helped establish a cohesive foundation for using AI confidently, safely, and effectively across the organization.

The importance of not only remaining curious but encouraging curiosity amongst all staff resonated with me. The fact that you add the human side to fear, curiosity, excitement and frustration with AI covers all of the emotions that everyone experiences at some point with embracing a new technology.

This was a great presentation. I walked in feeling completely overwhelmed about AI in general, and with no clue how I could use it effectively at work. After this presentation I felt like I understood at a basic level what AI is, and more importantly I walked away with small actionable steps that I could implement right away without feeling overwhelmed with the scope of all of the possibilities. I would recommend Melissa and her team to anyone looking to get started on this AI journey, or looking for clarification about how it can be used in your specific workplace.

I think this was a very clear and concise presentation on AI. I appreciated that it was easy to understand as a person not coming from a tech background. I left with practical strategies that will better my experience with AI!

The AI Literacy and Adoption work was eye-opening for me. I was using AI in a fairly limited, transactional way, and Melissa helped me see how it could become a real thinking partner for working through complexity and getting things done more efficiently. She taught me how to ask better questions, make clearer decisions, and be more intentional in how I build my business. That shift opened up new possibilities for how I work and create. If you’re unclear where to start or how to move forward with AI, Melissa has a rare ability to meet you where you are and guide you forward in a way that feels safe, supportive, and encouraging.

AI Mindset - Emotional Intelligence & Readiness Before diving into AI, Melissa helped me realize I needed to step back in a way I didn’t know I needed. Her coaching reminded me of my strengths as a leader and reconnected me with what I genuinely love about my work. Most importantly, she helped me reclaim a sense of agency — clarity, confidence in my judgment, and ownership over how I show up. That grounding shaped everything that followed. It re-ignited my passion and expanded how I think about what’s possible with AI. I highly recommend Melissa to any leader navigating change, curious about AI, and looking for thoughtful, human-centered coaching.

What I liked most was how empowering the experience was. By the end of the call, I felt like I had been given a new set of tools to help streamline my tasks and free up time in my already busy schedule. I found the AI Readiness Accelerator program to be both practical and highly effective. It provided a clear, structured foundation for understanding how AI can be applied meaningfully within an organization, moving beyond theory to real-world execution. I now feel equipped with the tools, frameworks, and confidence to develop and execute an AI strategy aligned with our business objectives. The course struck the right balance between strategic perspective and hands-on insight, making it a valuable investment of time and effort.

I loved that the session was applicable to the instructors and also created excitement within them. It allowed them to reflect on their use of AI and to identify their comfort level with AI in their every day world. We received great feedback from instructors and it gave them space to chat about their current practices and share unique ways that they can adopt tech in their planning and delivery of programs. The mindset angle was very needed as there was varying abilities of comfort and confidence in using AI. I would definitely recommend this session or any session by this facilitator. The pace (although it was a short time limit) was good, the delivery was easy to digest and the additional resources provided were very valuable for our participants.

We were very pleased to have Melissa deliver this workshop as part of the Launch Export program. Scaling up to export requires a great deal of time, resources, and strategic thinking, and Melissa was able to provide practical ways AI can be harnessed to help with the process.

Melissa was an incredibly engaging speaker at the 2025 CUCCOA National Conference in Wolfville. I was not using AI, was scare it would take to much time for me to understand and master it. But one sentence you said made me change my mind ''AI won't replace hospitality but it can give you the head space to deliver it''. After this reading this, it gives me the little incentive to use it more often.

Overall, I found the session very informative and eased some of the cons I hear about AI. I think aps like ChatGPT and Note Recorder could be beneficial at bringing efficiencies into the workplace without eliminating positions as we are a small organization. Melissa you are very knowledgeable and see you as a valuable resource if we needed training for staff.

Melissa's session was exactly what I needed - a brief introduction to the power and potential of AI in my business. We were a diverse group, so it was not practical to do a deep dive into everyone's situation.
