I was thrilled to welcome Zainab, an expert in health literacy and artificial intelligence, to my class!  Students had the opportunity to explore how AI is shaping healthcare and research—and, more importantly, use their critical thinking skills to reflect on both the promise and the pitfalls of AI.

I attended Ruqaiya's workshop on creating Agentic AI Agents which was hosted by AWT (Austin Women in Tech). Ruqaiya led one of the best agentic AI sessions I’ve attended. The workshop was clear, easy to follow, and immediately applicable. In ninety minutes, we built working agents from scratch. Her instructions were simple. Her examples showed what is possible without overwhelming anyone. I walked in with only a vague idea of how to build an agent. I walked out with one I created myself, ready to use every week. It was a valuable and energizing experience, and I’m grateful Women in Technology Austin brought her in.

The ZRF Group's training on Prebunking AI-Generated Health Misinformation was engaging and well-researched. I really appreciated how they integrated specific case studies and examples to demonstrate concepts (e.g., the 5 ways AI can misinform). The training leaves participants with clear action steps and strategies for pre-bunking (or preventing people from falling for misinformation in the first place), which I found really valuable! I highly recommend this team if you're looking for training on AI health literacy.

Excellent and simplistic explanation of a relatively complex topic for someone like me who is fairly technologically illiterate. LOVE how you talk about different tools (whether for writing, images, videos, etc) that are available, no matter what the field of your work. Chuckled surprisingly when I learned how AI tools can be used to help everyday mundane tasks like shopping lists. Would love to continue this path of learning about AI, especially because I feel threatened by how it is going to replace me at work!

I have have some basic understanding of AI and AI tools, but the Amplify Your Amazing with AI workshop was still very valuable for me! It is rare to have something so tailored to the needs of moms, so was very validating to have the unique challenges and mental load of moms addressed and how AI can help. Very intimidating concepts are broken down in easy to understand ways, and it feels amazing to know about all of the cutting edge technologies as well as tips for maintaining privacy and safety when using them.

Working with Ruqaiya from ammi.ai has been one of the highlights of my journey in the AI and parenting space. Through the Internet Street Smarts microgrant program, Ruqaiya created an incredible space for community members to come together and speak about digital safety issues that most concern them. As well, Ruqaiya facilitated the opportunity for the community members to take the Internet Street Smarts course. The impact of this event was outstanding, and we are grateful for the opportunity to have worked with her!
