Lack of transparency. I think Beshak has done a great job in bridging the gap for layman citizens. But the lack of transparency by the insurance provider is a major reason I personally don't trust the industry but do get an insurance to avoid being penny wise pound foolish.

Okay, not in the mood for a thread or anything but recently used @BeshalKIN to get some advice on health insurance, and boy-oh-boy, I am impressed. The expert asked me for details and then gave his advice. He didn't force me to buy anything from him. (cont.) Just told me that I can try purchasing a policy from the current insurer and if I need any help, he'd help me out. Transparent process, no fuss, no more wasting time going through comparison portals, and the guy would even help if I have to make a claim. (cont.) I would happily pay the commission to get this type of service. Great going @themahavir. Dunno, the last time I was impressed this much by an Indian service/product. I think it was in 2019 and the product was Rentomojo.
Well I do have a health insurance already provided by my employer, however that gives very basic sum assured and that too I've to co-pay certain amount in case of my parents hospitalization. My goal was to have an adequate cover for my parents and also wanted to have a policy for my younger sister, and so my hunt for good health insurance providers in the market begins... I started googling, you tubing to educate myself but honestly each video end up confusing me even more :) As I was doing my research, I stumbled upon some video shorts of beshak.org done by their founder, I just watched 3 shorts and those answered my biggest 3 questions: 1. How much cover should I take for my parents considering their edge 2. From whom (provider) I should be taking 3. Things to check while claim settlement I took their free call to get my queries answered. My previous experience with claim settlement was a nightmare but the kind of expertise beshak and their partners have is just very assuring. Entire process of onboarding was very smooth and I even don't have to pay any additional money for consultation and process I went through. Thanks team, keep it up !
