“I have been a member of the Chase Maddux Guitar Academy for the past five months. I've been a long term lover of guitar and I had a sincere desire to improve and that has taken place. My picking technique has improved, I can play faster and cleaner and maybe more importantly, I understand how to continue to improve in that area. I've learned how to develop lines and connect the lines together and connect these lines to the chords about which Chase is also teaching us how the chords relate to the melody and to the lines. The key to any good adult learning experience is a teacher. Chase Maddx is an awesome player and musician. Furthermore, he's an excellent and supportive educator who can teach us at any level. For example, he supplies PDFs for all of his lessons. I may not get the lesson the first time as I'm watching it on video participating with the other members, but the PDF clinches things and gives me a foundation upon which to work. He is an excellent and supportive educator and he is a true wizard with computer technology. These three things are all very important to learn jazz guitar and improve. As part of the educational experience. We have weekly coaching sessions and there are other coaching opportunities very important. We upload videos on the various pieces whenever we think we're ready to have others critique our work and we do get feedback, supportive and helpful feedback from Chase and from other members of the Academy. The mutual support of the members of the Academy is also very important. While we are not fast friends, we are mutual supporters and friends within the world of jazz guitar. In summary, this is the best jazz guitar experience ever had. An educational opportunity I think is one you will find appealing as I have.”
