There are lots of calculators to choose from, along with different standards of different countries. ClearCalcs can provide multi country selections for different calculators.

Great customer care It is relatively easy to use. There are layers to the program that allow you to transfer over for footings from ridge beams headers, pretty helpful. The design engineering was real conservative

The software saves me at least 5x the amount of time spreadsheets used to take. Linking loads. A variety of design options. There's nothing really I don’t like. More design modules will be great, though.

Increased profitability. Speed and no cumbersome model setup leads to increased design options and profitability. The maths is all set out, so it's easy to follow. When I get an unusual result - it's usually due to an input error on my part.

I have minimal experience, but experience has been good. Ease of use / ease of access / flexible use terms Haven’t developed built up section applications or composite section applications. Specifically needs more capabilities for cold formed steel design.

This design program ROCKS - it not only designs building components but it is very user friendly and allows me to quickly re-design items that the customer changes during the construction process. The only weakness that I see is it needs to have a masonry design module.

For as much as I have used it - I love it and look forward to using it more; especially as the Clearcalcs' design team rolls out more and new features in continuing to develop this software. The flexibility to design a variety of different structural elements from a selection of different building materials with the same software.

I like the software, but in an effort to make it easy for some types of engineering, it was not flexible enough to meet general engineering requirements of our firm. This program is very easy to use. The printouts are very good This software is too rigid. There is not enough flexibiliy to change safety factors, load cases, and differen types of materials.

This software is affordable with great technical support. I like how all the files are organized and saved to the browser interface. I am able to most everything I need to do for my small engineering firm. Occasionally I run into an error mainly with the truss and portal frame wizards. But that is probably because I am trying to do something crazy that is not standard.

Before ClearCalcs, we had a lot of different tools—we were using this website and that website—and it wasn’t very effective for making things efficient. We needed a solution to bring all these tools into one package. With ClearCalcs, we can, you know, do our headers, we do our cross members, we do our columns all in one package, which is just three different calculators out there.

The way the software is presented to the user does not require any tutorials or courses to use the software. Many design features and more to come. so far no issues, it could use some extra features down the track like more concrete slab types and linking hot rolled steel sections design to portal frame analysis wizard and truss analysis wizard.this will enable the design of hot rolled members based on analyis results

I'm still coming up to speed with some of ClearCalcs features, but they provide tremendous support along with great learning tools, so learning this software is not a problem. The software is great, but the customer service and technical support is absolutely excellent. I've never encountered such responsive support from a software company before. No complaints. It's an awesome tool to have preliminary output, specially that it's a cloud based software and no installation is required. It's simplicity comes at a small price: certain factors and inputs cannot be changed in order to give a product as simple as it is. More complex calculations should be done on more advanced softwares.

Quick and simple engineering that is accessible and backed up. All calculations are backed up in real time, and accessible anywhere. It is simple and easy to understand and there are explanations of what each of the available fields are used for. This software is still in development and many of the features are not quite finished yet, but whenever I contact their support team I receive feedback quickly and they have even added features in after I have requested them.

Excellent. It gives me what I'm looking for, and the interaction with the personnel has been helpful and professional. I appreciate the detail that the program offers, and the flexibility to work with a variety of different materials. Thorough explanations of data fields are given, and the staff is committed to thoughtful answers to questions that I have. Sometimes a program's greatest strength can be a weakness, and sorting through the details of the program can take some time, but that's a minor issue.

Great software and extremely helpful staff. I was unsure whether to purchase but after talking with the great staff and getting some pointers I took the plunge. Boy am I glad I did. The calculators and ability to link forces and members together saves me a lot of time and it's easy to try different scenarios. Plus the software is continuously being updated / refined and new calculators and materials are updated pretty regularly. I've tried other products and have been disappointed but ClearCalcs is Highly recommended.

At the same time, it is somewhat difficult to organize a project if you have many members on each level. I would like to see project organization improvements.
