I have come to love CoverDoc (CD) due to it being so simple to use and so quick to generate a cover letter. In nearly every instance CD generates a cover letter I only spend up to 5 minutes proof reading and, on occasion, making minor edits - CD does a great job. I have nearly twice as many interviews since using CD, so it's a valuable tool for me and it's affordable. The interview questions are quite helpful as well. I have received complements on how prepared I am and my thoughtful questions about the company and role for which I'm interviewing.

It worked great actually. It overplayed a couple skills that I removed or toned down, but it read great. It didn’t seem generic at all. They provide you with more than a cover letter. They pulled in some company news - which the AI rather artfully incorporated into the cover letter. And it provided some interview questions and suggested answers. I only drafted letters of that depth for the top, TOP companies I applied for, and used a few templates I made for some others and skipped it entirely for many. There’s no reason not to have a solid cover letter now.
