The C1 Wall of Winners 🏆

Hi Issy, I passed my CAE exam! Thank you so much for all your help and support. Your online course was really helpful, especially with writing and speaking, and I can see that in my results. I’m very grateful for everything!

Hello, Issy ) I bought your course and, to be honest, I find it absolutely helpful ) Earlier ❤️ I didn't andrstand the basics of the speaking part, but finally I got the idea 😂 I also joined the waiting list for your conversation classes C1 )

Hi Issy, I don't know whether you can remember me. I am the 13 year old girl from Sri lanka. Once I sent you an essay to correct. I passed the fce exam. Your book of phrases for speaking and writing helped me a lot. Thanks a lot for your help....

To found Issy instagram was a bless. Every day you learn something new on her insta posts. It is challenging and very helpful. I am looking forward to take her online classes just I haven’t had the time to do it. meanwhile I try to don’t miss any of her insta post. she has great resources online!!!

Hi, Issy) I just want to tell you that I got B2 today and I'm so incredibly happy! I have been following you for some time and your tips were really useful! Thanks for your help, for everything you do!

I met Issy in 2016 when she became my English teacher. We worked together for a few months before I moved to the UK. She is a lovely person, very patient and keen to help her students to perform their best. She gives a lot of examples and as she is also able to speak Portuguese, it enables her to identify the differences between the languages and we could focus on what was “new/unusual” for me. By that I mean the pronunciation of many letters/words we wouldn’t normally have in Portuguese for example. To learn English with Issy was definitely enjoyable and fun. Something to look forward to.

Taking classes with Issy was a fantastic experience. Every lesson was dynamic, fun, and incredibly useful for preparing for my C1 exam. Without a doubt, it was one of the best investments I’ve ever made! 🌟

There are no words to describe how elated I am right now! Thank you Issy you’ve helped me tremendously especially when it comes to speaking

I am delighted with your content. English with Issy is easy-peasy. I found it very useful. I am heading to my FCE exam and you gave me hope I could achieve it step by step.

Dear Issy, I've just received my Statement of Results: I got Grade A! I'm on cloud nine! I wanted to thank you once more: I've been following you on IG for a while, your contents are really spot-on. Plus, your writing guide and your writing corrections have been of invaluable help! Best regards, Pietro

In textbooks, maybe you focus on grammar, you focus on use of English exercises and the speaking it's like there are two, three questions, but they don't focus on the strategy of speaking. This is what I liked about Issy. I think it's a matter of how she organised her class, and how she helped us organise what we know in order to communicate and use it the best we can to get better marks.

I joined one of Issy's C2 Mastery groups a few months ago and her classes are so enjoyable that I wish I had done it sooner. I enjoy her classes so much that I simply can't wait for the day we have class with her. Moreover, not only do we learn new vocabulary and grammar, but we also we have learn many interesting things related to culture, history, customs, and more.

Hey! I just wanted to tell that I passed my C1 exam!!! I'm so happy, my highest score was 197 in the use of english. Thank you for your videos, they were truly helpful 😘😊

Issy is hands down one of the best teachers I´ve run into. I´ve met her through IG stories by chance. What made me follow and take a course with her was her confidence and idoneity to prepare students for Cambridge exams. Were I to prepare one of those again, I would definetly do it with her. Her speaking and writing workbooks are worth a dozen textbooks, with clear strategies and a step by step guide of what Cambridge expect from students. Plus, for those who want to do it at their own pace, you have the online course. To top it off, she will correct your essays and the feedback will be recorded, cool, right? 😁

Hi Issy, I’d like to share with you that I took my English exam in these last days and I finally passed it successfully. This result is absolutely related to the confidence in speaking I’ve experienced in your classes. Thank you so much!!

I came across Issy on Instagram and joined her conversation intensive class last summer. I learned a lot and really enjoyed the dynamic of her classes, so in September I enrolled in her C1 Mastery course. Her dedication to helping us learn and immersing us in English culture truly pays off. It’s a real pleasure to share these learning moments with the fantastic group she has brought together.

Hi Issy, I would like to share my CAE results with you and also thank you for your PDFs, courses and advice. Those helped me a lot during the preparation period. Without them I don’t think that I would have been able to achieve these results. So thank you once again and that my dream of studying in Denmark is coming true.

I recently bought your C1 writing guide and actually managed to receive a C2 certificate. Thank you for your help 😅

I need to say that Englishwithissy is absolutely the best teacher to prepare for Cambridge Exams! Her course is worth every penny! I’ve done it 👏👏 and miss her classes so much! 🙌🙌 😍

Issy is a passionate and motivating English teacher who structures each lesson around a new topic. You’ll continuously expand your vocabulary and improve both your writing and speaking skills in a safe and supportive environment, which was important to me. I can highly recommend English with Issy! 😊

Dear Issy, I have recently passed my C1 exam and I wanted to share with you my experience as well as my results. I am overjoyed to share that I have reached the C1 level, although I was (unfortunately) two points short of a grade A. Nevertheless, this exam has been very insightful and showed me the areas where I can improve, which I find invaluable. My speaking result was a pleasant surprise for me. The examiners were speaking as if they were in a rush, giving little time to respond to the interview questions. Then, I was presented with pictures of people cooking in different situations. As I was a little nervous about the timing, I spoke a bit too rapidly, finishing 3 to 5 seconds early. I struggled to find additional comments to make about the pictures. For part 3, I was paired with a very friendly partner, who tented to give lengthly opinions. Despite this, I managed to lead the conversation and was happy with the amount of time I was able to speak. This is all thanks to you, as I learned how to handle these kinds of situations during our speaking classes. Regarding the listening, I would say it generally went well, though I found it challenging to read the questions while listening to the audio. The last part was particularly tricky, as it involved different accents. In the Use of English, I was concerned about phrasal verbs, despite having learned them. Fortunately, there was only one that I was unsure about. I was also pleased that I managed my time and had some time to proofread my work. As for the reading, it went well overall. Since the exam was computer based, my eyes grew a little tired from staring at the screen. Finally, in the writing section, I ended up with an inspiring essay topic about the usefulness of different groups of people in society; scientists, sports people, and one additional group (which I unfortunately don’t recall). For the second task, I chose to write a review. I felt I may have done too many repetitions and wasn’t entirely confident about the tone I used, which might explain my lower score. I wanted to thank you once again for our speaking classes, which were incredibly helpful and gave me more confidence, as well as for all the strategies you gave in your recorded lessons. I am truly grateful for your support and will definitely recommend your course to my acquaintances. Best regards, Alina

Excellent 👍🏻👍🏻🤩

i find her dinamic, useful and catchy.

Hi Issy! Just wanted to let you know I passed my exam!! Your course was excellent, many thanks!! Cheers, Maja

Thank you for your exam preparation course. It was extremely helpful and gave me a lot of confidence while studying and preparing for my exam. I achieved a B2 in reading, a B2+ in use of English, a C1 in listening, a C1 in writing, and a C2 in speaking. In total, I got 183 points. Thank you so much for all your guidance and advice; they were invaluable.

Dear Issy, I hope you are doing well. I wanted to sincerely thank you for your excellent C1 preparation course. Your guidance, structured lessons, tips, tricks and clear explanations were incredibly helpful throughout my learning journey. I’m thrilled to share that I achieved a high score of 208 in my speaking exam, and your course played a significant role in this achievement. I’m also delighted that my overall performance qualified me for the C1 level. Reaching this in just about 1.5 months feels very rewarding — definitely a moment to give myself a small pat on the back 😊. Thank you once again for your dedication and support. I truly appreciate the effort you put into helping students succeed.

Good morning Issy! How’s life treating you? I hope you’re having a great Monday. Only few days ago, I got something that I’d like to share with you, because you helped me incredibly in the last three months. To make a long story short, I’ve received the results of my first exam and I’m still on cloud nine! Here’s the scoring in detail. Thank you!

Hello Issy I hope you are doing well! I just wanna say that your C1 advanced course helped me so so much achieve a C2 level/ pass grade A with a perfect score in use of English, speaking and writing!!!! Despite only studying for 2 weeks, your course helped me significantly and I can’t thank you enough 💖 much love

I PASSED 🥳🥳🥳 Thank you very much for your help. I would not have passed without your expertise. And thank you to the girls for participating in the course. It wouldn't have been half as fun without the 3 of you!

Hey! I just wanted to tell that I passed my C1 exam!!! I'm so happy, my highest score was 197 in the use of english. Thank you for your videos, they were truly helpful

Thank you, Issy, for your support and dedication throughout my journey with advanced English. I had been following Issy for over a year before joining her summer intensive C1 course, and the experience was so enriching that I decided to continue with her regular classes from October to June. I was initially hesitating between a C1 exam preparation course and C2 classes, but after a quick call with Issy, I decided to take the C2 course, and it was one of the best decisions I could have made. The C2 classes pushed me out of my comfort zone and challenged me to aim higher. Being surrounded by women with such an impressive level of English really motivated me to work harder and improve. After a year of preparation, I finally took the C1 exam and passed with a score of 196! Issy is a wonderful teacher: patient, attentive and incredibly supportive. She creates a safe and harmonious environment where everyone feels comfortable speaking, making mistakes and sharing their experiences. I’m extremely grateful for her guidance and encouragement, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to take their English to the next level. ❤️

Issy has taught me lots of different expressions. I find her content very useful not only for daily life conversation but also for taking English exams. ⭐️

Studying with "English with issy" is absolutely amazing! With her resources (reels/writing guide and so on) not only will you learn how to deal with the exam itself, but you will also learn lots of grammar structures and expressions which are fundamental when it comes to level up your English

I passed the Cambridge C1 exam today thanks to this course, and I really want to share my experience. Before I bought the course, I was at a solid B2 level and thought C1 wouldn’t be much harder. I quickly realised how huge the gap between B2 and C1 actually is, which honestly demotivated me at first. I never thought I would be able to pass it. I went for the self-study option. There’s a video series for every module (Reading, Use of English, Writing, Listening and Speaking) with genuinely valuable tips that show you exactly what’s expected in each task. On top of that, there are countless practice tests that get corrected instantly, with an AI explaining exactly where your mistakes are and why. This system that Issy built for every single task is what made the difference for me. I studied around 30 to 40 minutes a day, working through the practice tests and watching the videos. Over time my whole mindset shifted and I realised C1 was actually within reach. Without this course, I’d still be nowhere near it. What I appreciated most: the videos aren’t dragged out unnecessarily, they’re compact and to the point. Issy explains everything in a really likeable and clear way, which makes it easy to stay motivated. I can recommend this course to anyone preparing for the exam.

Being a non-native English teacher, I've always had a strong drive to keep improving my language skills and, like many non-native teachers, I've also had my uncertainties. But after attending Issy's lessons for the past 2 months, I genuinely feel that I've already learned a lot. Not only are her classes super engaging, dynamic and fully communication-focused, but they're also a ton of fun! So if you've been thinking about taking the leap, go for it! I highly recommend any course with Issy. :)

Issy is an incredible teacher. She has excellent sources to improve your English level, and her worksheets have helped me boost my vocabulary and pronunciation. What´s more, I love her mini tests on Instagram, as I can learn new words while I am on social media. Her writing feedback is also superb since she gives you full details about your mistakes and how you can do better.

Hey Issy! Thank you so much for your videos and content. I was able to do so well in my CAE exams thanks to you! I didn't even expect a high level result but yeah. What you give out is helping so many people who can't afford online. I was able to get good information and guidance with your structures for writing, tips on that, speaking lessons and the few gold-mines for reading and use of English. Thank you once again! Can never forget how much of an inspiration you are. All the best and continue helping people! - J

I’ve been looking for an online course, and I was the luckiest person in the world to come across Issy’s classes! My main goal was to practice English speaking and improve my grammar. I can’t be more grateful for what I’ve learned so far. Issy creates a super comfortable and supportive environment where you’re not afraid to make mistakes and that’s exactly what helps you grow. Each class is well-structured, but at the same time flexible so you can always ask questions or focus on what you need most. After just a few lessons I started feeling more confident when speaking and my grammar became more consistent. If I could, I would give this course a 100 out of 10 that’s how amazing it is! I would highly recommend Issy’s classes to anyone who wants to enjoy the process of learning and see real results!

Issy is one of the best English teachers I have ever had. She is extremely patient, dynamic, enthusiastic and dedicated. Issy is a detail-oriented teacher, no matter how small a mistake is in pronouncing a new word, she will do her best until you learn the correct pronunciation. To learn english with Issy has been a good experience, she makes it seems easier than it really is!

Hi Issy! Here are my results. It was close, but I expected a C, so I won't complain. I didn't have much time to prepare for the writing, and it shows, but imagine what would've happened without your course! As for the speaking part, your help and tips were crucial. Again, thank you very much!

Hi Issy! Finally, last weekend I sat for the C1 exam. I must say that the strategies for the Speaking and Writing parts you gave in the online course were really helpful. Now I have to wait for the results, but I wanted to thank you in advance!

Issy is a great english teacher. Her strong commitment and determination helps students to improve quickly!

Although currently I'm not studying English for passing any official exam, English with Issy is helping me to improve in a quite funny way! All the resources are very helpful to me and are very well-explained! I've learnt plenty of phrasal verbs and I consider that the writing guide is amazing!

Issy is such a exceptional teacher. I’m convinced she was born for teach other people. Her materials are really useful and help prove our English. I’ m sure I’ m night on the money that her skills are amazing.

Hi Issy! I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the lessons and tips you gave me through this course. I've just received the results of my exam, and fortunately I passed! If it wasn't for your course, I think I would've never pass! I’m so happy and thankful

I’ve really improved my writing, I’m not really a mess with the whole exam. Before I didn’t have a plan, or any idea how to do it…but now I know how the strategies are. I feel like I can get it. Before, I didn’t feel that. I’m really excited that I could add a lot of new words and sentences. You help us not feel like a lost case.

Even though my English level is intermediate, I do follow Issy pages to learn more about advanced levels. It really helped me to improve my English day after day. Her posts are really good to have advanced level in English. I’m preparing myself to do IELTS degree as soon as possible and her lessons helped me to learn a lot of new things. While I’m scrolling on social media I’m learning new things from her posts . Thank you! You are doing great, keep going .

Hello Issy, I'm Anna-Maria, an 18-year-old girl from Germany, and I really wanted to thank you for the Cambridge English prep course! I benefited greatly from the tips and advice you provided! really hoped to get C1 and I doubted myself due to the grades 1 received in English classes the last few years. I have no idea how, but I somehow managed to achieve C2! Your course definitely played a huge role in the result, so thanks a lot! Please continue your amazing work forever! I hope you have a great weekend.

Hello Issy!!! Firstly, I’d like to say a huge thank you for the effort and preparation you put into your lessons. Thank you for the guidance, I felt well-prepared before the real exam and even though I really messed up the reading part(B2), I still managed to pass it with flying colours ❤️ I am genuinely grateful not only for your lessons where I always felt involved but also for the time and care you spent on my writings and feedback. That made a huge difference. Thank you once again for your encouragement and your belief in me throughout the year! Say hello to the girls waiting/preparing for the test and tell them that I also believe in them! They will smashed it for sure! Hope to meet you maybe in one of your mastery class? 😍 María 😇

Hi Issy! Just wanted to tell you that I passed B2 today! Was 2 points short from C1 but I am still happy and proud of myself. Thanks for the tips, exercises, tests... I was really motivated by you and I want to really appreciate your work. It really helped me! Thank you very much! Enjoy the rest of the day! <:)>

Hi girls! Sorry I've been absent from the last few sessions. I'd like to thank all of you. It was such a pleasure getting to know you and sharing this learning journey together. I'm truly grateful to have met you all and to have taken away something inspiring from each one of you. I'd also like to share that during this period I oversaw two international events, and they both went really well. One of the clients was so enthusiastic that she has already decided to organize the event again next year! I'm very grateful for this program because it helped me overcome my biggest fear, which was speaking in English. Now I know that even if I make mistakes while speaking, nothing terrible happens. Even though I know I can still improve, I now know that I can keep making progress without the anxiety of feeling like I'm not good enough. For me, this has been a huge milestone and made the entire course worth it. I wish you all the best, and I have no doubt that you'll achieve it! Take care ❤️

Hello Issy! I joined your C1 course some time ago and I find it amazing! I would like to improve my writing skills especially opinion and for and against essays and speaking skills. Thank you so much! You are a fantastic teacher❤

Thanks a lot!!!!!!!

Amazing young teacher. I am preparing for FCE her materials are easy to undrstand, concrete and some are for free.

Hi Issy, it's nice to hear from you! I'm doing well. I had a crazy summer this year working on English and my thesis, I finally can say that all my efforts were worth it! All my projects went well, I passed the First Exam and graduated, too!! Regarding the English Exam, I can't thank you enough, I couldn't have done it without your strategies, tips and mindset. Apart from the marks, which are important but not essential, your speaking course gave me a boost of self-confidence and optimism to go through this exam. I think that your preparation helped me experience the exam positively and be satisfied at the end. Last but not least the marks, I got a B2 in grade C and even though I could do better, I'm very surprised about my Use of English and Speaking level. I'm very glad of my improvement. Issy, you did a magic! After the speaking part, I was stunned and a bit worried because I was so much into the conversation that I couldn't realise what I'd done in the room. About your current courses, I'm interested in keeping my English alive so if you have any available courses I'll be happy to participate.

Hi Issy, I just want to thank you for your amazing speaking and writing course. I passed my CAE at grade A! I lost only one score in writing and speaking and I think it's mostly because of you. Thanks!

Issy is is an exceptional language teacher who always comes to class thoroughly prepared and full of positive energy. She creates a supportive and motivating atmosphere that makes learning feel natural and engaging. You get a lot of speaking time, which really builds confidence, and each lesson has a different focus, allowing you to grow in all areas of the language. After just a few months, I’ve noticed a real improvement in my fluency, which was my main goal from the beginning!!

I really love her teching methods 😍

Since joining the C2 class with Issy in September, I’ve noticed significant improvements in my grammar and vocabulary. Her structured approach is perfectly suited to our advanced level. The collaborative environment with classmates also makes learning even more enriching. Highly recommend!

Issy is a fantastic teacher! 🙌 Her method made me improve my English level and to talk with more confidence. With Issy you learn proper British English 🇬🇧as she is a native British from Oxford, the famous Queen’s 👑English, so admired by the world, which is an asset for the students who learn English with her. I always have fun in my lessons and it is always a pleasure to learn English with Issy! 🤩

I learn something from her regularly through social media even on C1-2 level :)

From Tired to Inspired — Can’t Recommend Her Enough!!💙 I've been taking C1 group classes with Issy since September last year, and I've never ever thought of quitting. I love the variety and structure of the classes, but above all, I truly appreciate the time and effort she puts into each lesson and her gift for getting everyone genuinely involved. No matter how tired I am, I still show up, because every class is a unique opportunity to learn something new. I used to lack confidence, but that’s no longer the case. Since I trust her teaching methods, I also bought the C1 Online Course and will be joining the Exam Preparation Course in July — can’t wait!🤓

Hello Issy! I just wanted to tell you that I passed my C1 exam with 195 points, being the speaking and writing the best parts with both 200 points 😚

English with Issy is one of the best IG accounts about english I've seen so far. I would really like to take a C1 course with Issy and then pass the Cambrige Exam. Greets from Ukraine! :)

I first heard about Issy when a girl in a Facebook group thanked her for helping her pass the CAE exam. I decided to sign up for her classes, and she’s been a part of my English journey for the past two years. I'm currently taking C2-level classes — and I have no plans to stop! Lessons with Issy are not only professional and full of dedication, but also filled with laughter, good vibes, and shared with fantastic people in the group. It feels like having coffee with friends — except you’re learning a lot at the same time.

I love Issy instagram . Every day you may learn phrasal verbs, vocabulary, idioms and so on with her posts. Her post are so awesome, heplful, short and direct. If I were in your shoes, I would keep an eye on her posts. 😉

Studying and practicing English with Issy is simply amazing and inspiring. She’s the best English teacher I’ve ever met … well-prepared and enthusiastic … I will follow her lessons and social channels forever. She always gives you extremely useful tips for your English.

With Issy you will learn english as a native British from Oxford because she is a fantastic teacher!! She has a great method to learn english quickly.

Studying English with Issy it's not only a lot of fun and communication with different people from different countries, but also easy way to break your speaking barrier, improve your grammar and expand your vocabulary! Issy can expand your vocabulary in huge variety of topics, teach you formal and informal English, everyday phrases and prepare for CAE.

I found her classes by chance but I'm very grateful to her. She gave me all the support to face more confidently the C1 exam. Do not miss the opportunity to study with a native speaker, you'll notice some details in your English. Issy will provide you with the most accurate tools to improve your skills.

Taking the C1 Mastery class with Issy has been an absolute game-changer. Not only did we dive deep into advanced English concepts, but we also laughed our way to fluency! Seriously — who knew grammar drills could be this entertaining? Issy has this magical ability to turn even the most terrifying phrasal verbs into jokes. The materials? Top-notch. Everything is clear, relevant, and practical — no fluff, just the good stuff. We covered real-world topics, challenging texts, and vocabulary that finally made me feel like I own the language instead of tiptoeing around it. But the best part? Confidence. Before this course, I spoke English like I was apologizing for existing. Now I am fluent and honestly, that’s priceless. If you're thinking about joining Issy’s class, do it. You’ll level up your English, meet great people, and leave every lesson a little smarter — and a lot more amused

Issy is a great teacher, if you want to learn British English she is your best option. I also recommend you follow her on Instagram, she has very nice reels to practice your English and expand your vocabulary.

Issy! Sorry for texting you at this time, but I wanted to share this with you I didn't prepare it really well, only with your Speaking and Writing Strategy course. I CANNOT believe my score!!! I was so terrified with the speaking part, I thought it was the part that I did the baddest way possible, and look at it! Your pieces of advice really helped me and I'm so happy I tried!

I attended classes in group B2. The atmosphere in the classes is very friendly, no rush, everything is relaxed but productive at the same time. I want to point out that very rarely does a teacher pay due attention to teaching writing, but in Issy's classes this is not the case. She explains the structure of different types of written work very well, which also helps to prepare for the exam. Issy evaluates each written work like a Cambridge examiner and gives advice on how to improve your style.

I enjoyed the English classes with Issy! The lessons are dynamic and engaging. Issy is supportive and always encourages us to speak up and participate. I’ve noticed real progress in my fluency and confidence. Totally recommend it!
