“Hi. Just gonna go over a few things that I think have been really beneficial as a member of the LevelUp club for the last two or three years. The first one being it has been great to get to know all sorts of different people who come from different industries, different levels of experience, different backgrounds, and get to know how they got into design, how they handle design conflicts or design issues, and then also just their general perspective on design. It's been really interesting to hear all of their stories, kind of piece together different ways to approach specific scenarios and also just learn more. In general. Some of the things I have learned from the Level Up Club are how to tackle PM and development conversations because everybody is kind of spread across different industries and all those companies have different structures. So it's been interesting to see how people work with development in PMs, especially when it comes to strategy and shaping roadmaps and like priorities in terms of work. Then in general, it's just been like a very like, chill vibe. Everybody is super friendly, which I've loved. Everybody's willing to share their experiences and it's just like a very open kind of vibe. As far as who I would recommend the Level Up Club to, I would say it's been really good for me as a senior designer. I think I originally did the product strategy course when I was mid level and then I think it did help me get to a senior promotion at work. So I would say anybody who's mid level, senior staff, these are all positions that differ from company to company and it would be helpful for all of them to kind of get different perspectives on how to advance skills, both soft and hard skills. And then I have not made it to all the live events, but the ones I have made it to have been really interesting and engaging. I like that there are multiple rooms that you can go into depending on what your interest is for that event and have really good discussions. It makes it feel very like inviting and easy to jump into if you're a new member without being super intimidating. So would highly recommend in general the Level Up Club. It's been a good resource for talking out issues, for just learning new things and discussing new ideas and making new friends. So yeah, join if you can.”
