“Hi, my name is Reese and I'm a perfect performance Bootcamp student. I started using Ableton years ago, first as a guitar player and worship leader, and eventually adding playback tech to my list of responsibilities for my local church. And when I started, I had no idea what I was doing. Luckily, I found my way over to from studio to stage, and with the help of the content there and Will's courses, I was really able to learn a lot. And eventually I decided, hey, I might want to do this professionally. You know, this playback engineer thing is a lot of fun. I love Ableton, but what are the next steps? I really was struggling to know at a certain point, like, where do I need to invest my time? What would be most beneficial for me? Should I learn about lights? Should I learn about video? Should I continue just learning about audio playback? I just didn't know where to go. So when Will announced the Boot camp, I signed up as soon as I could. Because what I was really wanting was kind of like a systematic approach to skill stacking. And that's exactly what I got. I would describe the Boot Camp as kind of like a step by step blueprint for anybody who wants to work with Ableton, no matter the context. House of worship, playback engineer for another artist, your own band, whatever it may be. It's helped me continue on my own personal journey and it also has given me the why behind it. We dive into the core concepts of audio and different things about why we're doing the things that we're doing in Ableton. It's not just a mindless how to course. So I would recommend it for anybody who's looking to invest in themselves, invest more into Ableton and learning Playback. And even if you're like me and you think that you already have a few skills that you've picked up, you know, either from YouTube videos or even from studio to stage. I still think it's worthwhile because you really dig into the content and like I said, it gives you step one, two and three to get you further down the road. And lastly, I would say you get the added benefit of having the community of other people who are in the boot camp with you. We give feedback on the projects that we're working on, we encourage each other, we ask questions. So it's not just. Just you learning all this stuff in a vacuum, you know, and wondering if you're doing it right, wondering if you're misunderstanding a core concept, anything like that. Now there's other people to go along this journey with you too. So again, I think it's for anybody who has any interest in furthering their skills with Ableton at all. So. I haven't regretted it for a single day since I signed up. I would do it again in a heartbeat, and I hope you will, too. I don't think you'll regret it either. Been great for me. So take the time, make the investment. It'll be awesome. Take care.”
