I saw him and felt nothing!

I was consumed for six months by this intense fantasy about a married man, someone who took up way too much space in my head and body. The pull was so intense it felt uncontrollable, and I couldn't reason my way out of it no matter how much I tried. When I joined Heal Your Heart School, within weeks something shifted. The obsession vanished quickly, and I got clarity. It was really fast. The other day, it was just... nothing.

Video transcript: Yeah, I think maybe I was definitely over the peak of it, but I was just still in shock that I had gone through this, you know, really intense fantasy about, you know, somehow finding a way to connect with him even though he was married. And I've never been a person who's, you know, ever been interested in another married man. But the flirtation, the attraction was just so enticing that, you know, he took up way too much space in my head and my body's, you know, energetic reaction. And so I just realized there is something really off here. And, you know, it did take a while for it to completely peter out, but the other day, it was just so neutralized. It was just nothing. And the only reason why I thought about him was because. Well, that is pretty funny. I think from the time that. Well, I don't know, from the time that I met him to the time it was over, I would say it was, you know, like six months. But from the time that I got into this program, you know, it was just a matter of a few weeks that I got complete clarity about what was going on. It was very fast.

Before Heal Your Heart School, I was very anxious and constantly on guard around other people, especially in romantic relationships. I found myself repeating the same toxic relationship patterns and ignoring my own needs. I often abandoned myself in order to maintain connections, even when those relationships weren't healthy for me. What this program gave me was something I had been missing for a long time: a relationship with myself. I've learned how to manage my emotions instead of being overwhelmed by them, trust my intuition, and pay attention to what my body is telling me. My values are clearer, my boundaries are stronger, and I'm much more intentional about where I put my time and energy. The biggest surprise has been realizing that I'm genuinely happy on my own. Being alone no longer feels lonely or scary. It feels peaceful. I no longer feel the need to chase people, fix people, or abandon myself to keep a relationship of any type. Heal Your Heart School helped me build self-trust, self-respect, and emotional resilience. Looking back, I can see how much I've grown, and for the first time in my life, I feel grounded and confident in the choices I make.

I've Waited 50 Years For This!

I’d had psychotherapy on and off for about 16 years, and I’d learned a lot, but I still didn’t feel like I had embodied it. Logically, I knew what I should be doing, but it hadn’t connected properly. Through this work, I was able to name my parts, understand the voices inside me, and start parenting myself instead of shutting those parts out. I’d been consumed by an eight or nine-year relationship pattern, thinking about him from the moment I woke up to the moment I went to bed. Now those thoughts aren’t there constantly. I can acknowledge who is talking and let it go. I don’t have to let it consume me anymore, which is total freedom. Freeing up the brain space has been the biggest blessing.

Video transcript: I have or had been having psychotherapy for quite a number of months to that point, and it was pretty much weekly. But I've had psychotherapy on, off for about, I would say, knocking on 16 years. I met a guy and I thought, you know, things we seem to connect. And then he ghosted me, like, just as seems to be the usual these days. And it kind of spun me out slightly. And I discussed it with my therapist and it just went a bit pear shaped with her, I think because we sort of crossed a professional line, the boundary between us was blurred quite significantly. And there was a few things that she said to me that I just felt like a slap in the face, to be honest. And I just sat thinking, yeah, I'm done, I'm done, you know, I don't need to take this. And I came across a few of your, your YouTube videos basically, and it just kind of went from there. And I, I saw the videos and I thought, oh, this is what I need, you know, because I felt I, I'd learned a lot, but I still didn't feel like I had embodied it, if you like, you know, I, I wasn't logically and in the brain I knew what I was should be doing and you know, but it just still hadn't connected properly. And I think your videos certainly helped me realize actually there's a way of doing that. And I think I said to you in our first interview, you know, I felt like there's a lot of people in here and I wanted to integrate them and not ignore them or shut them out because that's what I'd been doing with the therapy. But it just wasn't, it just didn't feel right, I think, because it's given me names for my other parts of which they're quite a number. And, and it just, you know, it kind of made me have moments of, oh, oh, right, that's, that's what that voice is, or that's what that feeling is. I'd never really worked out how to embrace it, you know, so that it felt like I could let go, you know, and, and feel that I had, that I was parenting myself. I guess is, is the biggest thing that I've got so far is being able to name who it is that's talking at any particular point and the feelings. Because, you know, for a long time I've been quite numb. And, and the most invaluable thing I found is when that voice kicks in is kind of, I like, oh, okay, hello, I know who you are. And, and, and Finding that most of the time it's just wanting me to listen and acknowledge and be comfortable with it, you know, and, and being able to say it's okay, I've, I've got this, you know, you can trust me to do this now and not have to work so hard to protect me. And that's been fantastic. It's really made a huge difference. So I had, I did have a long, I'm gonna say a long term relationship. It was a very, I mean it was like, it was long term. It's been like eight, nine years with a guy, but it's been very much a one sided thing. It's, you know, him very much dictating when and where and how and, and I was very happily going along with that. There would be moments and I would just be like, I'm over, I'm done. I can't, you know, I've had enough. But I never could pull away. And I was always thinking about him. Like, literally from the moment I got up in the, in the morning to the moment I went to bed at night, it would consume me. And I, to the point where I sometimes thought I was going a bit mad. You know, it was just like, I need to get this out of my head. And I've noticed since I've been doing this work that those thoughts of are not there constantly. I'm not constantly over analyzing and overthinking the situation or what if I do this? What if he says that? What do I, you know, how do I do that? Now it's kind of if I do get those thoughts, it's, you know, I acknowledge who it is that's, that's talking to me about that and I can let it go. I think the biggest thing that I learned was I'd been hanging on so tight because I didn't want to end up alone, but realizing that I actually was alone anyway because of the type of relationship it was. And it wasn't, you know, it was like, okay, so I am alone anyway, so what's the big deal? You know, and that was kind of a bit like, okay, well, being on your own, it's absolutely fine. You know, it's fine. And I don't have to, I, I don't have to let it consume me anymore. Which is total freedom. You know, it's up there with when I got divorced, kind of that freedom, you know, freeing up the brain space is the biggest blessing, I think, out of all of it is getting time back. I'm glad I've done it because it's made me realize that I have to, you know, probably the root cause of everything is that. That trauma. I'm glad I've now got the. The tools to actually sit with it and not get overwhelmed by, but still be able to feel it and address it and work with it, rather than just thinking, I can't, I can't. It's too much. It, you know, it's almost like that bit of a meltdown situation where you just, I can't do it. It's too hard, it's too painful, and, and just distraction, you know, or drink yourself into oblivion to try and just shut it out. I would say do it. Don't second guess, because if you do, you'll talk yourself out of it and be prepared to be surprised, because I think. I'm not sure if everyone would feel the same way, but certainly there's probably quite a number of people who come into it thinking it's one thing and then finding out that really it's something under there that you probably haven't thought of for years. And it's, you know, it. It kind of unlocks that vault and it lets it out in a controlled way so that you can. You have the tools to deal with that. And, and it is. It. It is. It's parenting. It's parenting yourself because through. For whatever reason, you didn't get that. And, And I think when. When you're talking about yourself, that made me realize, you know, because from the outside, my childhood was great, but, you know, when you're on the inside and, and you've got, you know, there's certainly not the level of. Of encouragement to talk about your feelings these days. I'm certainly from the generation that, you know, you're too sensitive. You need to grow a harder skin. You know, that was my dad and my mom would be, no, don't get upset because you'll upset me and, you know, shutting it down kind of thing. So learning how to do that for yourself is. Is a huge bonus. And I've been waiting for. For 50 years. It's just such a blessing to know that I'm not insane, that I'm not, you know, like, I've got these voices in me, and that's okay.

Feeling Embodied Is A Gamechanger

When I came into the program, I was having intrusive limerent thoughts and using them as a self-soothing tool. I had done years of talk therapy, reading, meditation, and top-down work, but I realised it was all in my body - in my gut and in my throat. I thought I was grounded and calm, but I was mainly dissociating and shoving things down. Actually feeling embodied has been such a game changer for me. I feel more me. I’m gradually able to show up more fully, without a mask, and without pretending I’m okay when I’m not. It’s worth so much more than the cost. It’s invaluable.

Video transcript: When I came into the program, I was having a lot of like guilt and concern and I was having really intrusive like limerent thoughts and behaviors too with someone from my past who I never even had a real relationship with. It was just like a, a brief interaction and we remained in contact for a very long time. Yeah, but I was really frustrated with like limerence basically and I mean I think I was using it as like a self soothing tool. And so when, right when I came into the program I had just decided up and leave my career and start a new, you know, life as an artist and move across the country. So a lot of transition and I think I was just feeling really ungrounded and kind of scared. I didn't know what I was going to be doing. It was a, it was a pattern from childhood where I had just like disassociated and gone somewhere else. And with this particular way of disassociating it felt really fun and it was a great distraction. But I began to have too many like conflicting emotions about it too. And I had a head injury when I was 20, a traumatic brain injury. And. It made me like extremely impulsive. I kind of like lost my filter and I lost, I really lost like any kind of spaciousness within myself and it was like any kind of like voice or thought or idea. I would just like, I would just like do it or say it and I was just you know, like. And that was kind of my personality anyway. But it was even more so after the head injury. So I'd been working on like cultivating like some space, some inner space and like awareness for a long time. But it was always like talk therapy and like top down kind of therapies and self, self work and reading and meditating. But yeah, it's all like right here. It's all like in my body, it's in my gut. A lot of it's in my throat and say yeah, I just wasn't. I thought, I always thought I was like in my body and calm and I always like appeared like the really grounded calm person in. But I think I was just mainly disassociating for the bulk of the time and just like having this calm exterior just to like make it easier to get through life. Actually feeling like embodied is such a game changer for me. Like I don't, I don't think I ever actually was. I think I was only ever just shoving things down and then like feeling calm up here. And I know it's, it's really different. I have A lot of compassion for that part. And I have more of an awareness now where I can, like, usually separate myself from her. Not always still, but usually I can have some sep. Some boundary there. The focus on safety and, like, grounding of the nervous system. Yeah, I just feel. I just feel like more me, and I feel like. Yeah, I just think I went through life so for so long, just kind of, like, squashing things down and pretending they didn't matter and, like, steamrolling basically over my little sensitive parts that were upset because I just had to, like, you know, get stuff done or, like, go to some event and go be there. I do feel like I'm gradually, like, able to show up more fully and embodied and to show up without a mask and without having to, like, Yeah, just pretend I'm okay when I'm not, you know, because I was just constantly, like. Like, nothing was ever, like, good enough before, you know, I was always, like, searching for something or I was always, like, trying to figure out, you know. It was, like, so much up here. It was like. Like, I'm a smart person. It was like, I. I can play all the games and I can, like, figure stuff out and, you know, make sure I show up in the way I should show up. But, like, oh, it's just like. It's a hamster wheel. Like, you'll never be done. You know, it's just like, when are you gonna stop and enjoy your life, you know, and just, like, be in your body and just, like, the calls, too, like, how you hold space for us all. And, like, we all. I think everyone really tries to earnestly, like, listen with their hearts, like you say. And, you know, it's a really beautiful space, and it's just, like, really sweet getting to hear all the other women talk. And it's amazing. Like, no matter what phase of the program they're in, like, it could almost be as if I'm talking and you're answering my question, like, almost every time. It's crazy. What would you tell someone considering investing coming in? I would just say do might seem like a lot of money at first, but it's totally worth it. It's worth so much more than the cost. And it's. It's just, like, an ongoing support, you know? Like, you think it's about, you know, relationships and, like, heartbreak and romantic stuff, but it. It's about everything because, like, life is relationships. And, you know, like, it's just. It's invaluable. I would just say if you're thinking about it, definitely do it like it's totally worth it. And I'm kind of like a penny pincher, too.

Video transcript: This program has helped me in so many ways. Like, and I don't know, I've probably been here probably a couple months now, probably three months, probably. And I feel like I have grown in so many ways. Not that I have. Not that I don't have more growing to do, because I always feel like I'm always going to have growing to do, but, like, I feel like I've like, discerned a lot of things that were kind of like up in the air for me, you know, Like, I know when I feel comfortable. I know when I want to do something or don't want to do something. I know things that I like or don't like because before it was hard for me to discern for that for myself. I don't know what shifted for me. I think it did this whole program. I think the inner child thing, the immersions really helped me with a lot of things that I had going on. And I was talking to lady at church and she's like, you look great. And like, well, it's because I'm working on myself. And she's like, oh, you know, like, I don't know. I. And I feel great inside. That's the difference. I don't just look great, and I don't mean like, you know, attractive or anything, but like, I feel good inside my body. And that's what the difference, I think is because I don't always feel that great about being inside my body, you know, But I do feel good about me and what I'm doing. And I think because I'm not compromising myself either, I'm still doing things that align with me and choosing not to do things that don't align with me. And so that changes my perception of myself and my like, ability to, like, stick up for myself or say, no, I don't want to do that. That doesn't feel like something I want to do or. I don't know, it's just all encompassing of so many things and it's hard to explain because there's so much so. But it's on all these, all the people on here that like, share their stories and their experiences. And like, I mean, it really helps a lot, you know, like, it doesn't. I don't feel so alone when I hear other stories. And I mean, I. I felt that in Al Anon, but this is a whole different ball game. This is this. I remember when we first talked, you said, I can help you with that. I'm like, okay, let's see. And then, you know what you were right.

I'm no longer afraid of being alone.

I used to call myself a human pretzel - bending and contorting myself for everyone else, especially my emotionally unavailable husband of 12 years. I'd done years of talk therapy and was just spinning my wheels. When I found Amy's somatic approach, something clicked. That's why I was stuck. I hadn't gone into the body - and that was the missing piece. Reconnecting to myself changed everything. My peace, my kids, even gut issues I'd struggled with since I was 17. All of it shifted in ways I never expected, and now when something comes up, I stop and check in, and my body just relaxes and releases. I'm no longer afraid of being alone or abandoned. I've got my own back. I'm doing better than I've ever done in my life, and there is nothing that can hold me back now.

Video transcript: I was recently separated from my husband of 12 years and kind of floundering a little in my healing journey, I think is the best way to describe it. And not really sure how to process it, except I was really just aware that I did not want to repeat the same thing. When I went into marriage, I went in as a pretty hardcore people pleaser off the back of some other not great relationships. That had been kind of the story of my life. I'd always attracted emotionally unavailable men, and my husband was no exception because of his emotional unavailability. I just went so hard into abandoning myself just to try and understand where he was at, to try and meet him wherever he was at. And the amount of shape shifting and contorting. I used to call myself a human pretzel because I would just bend and twist and move in all directions to just try and either be less than who I was or exactly what that other person needed. I'd been in counseling for quite a while, so quite a few years prior to even my separation. I'd been doing a lot of head stuff, so a lot of cognitive behavioral therapy and a lot of talk therapy. And yeah, it just. It was helpful, but just felt like I was kind of spinning my wheels, just rehashing the same story over and over and over again without making a whole lot of progress. But I hadn't gone into the somatic side of things. And when I saw your ad, that was something that was a point of difference. I think that made me realize that's a level that I've not gone through or experienced before. And maybe that's the reason why I'm stuck. So I feel like that's made a huge difference. And yeah, I found it's been so helpful just learning how to really connect to my body, because I don't think I realized how much I was kind of disassociating from it in a way, how much I'd separated myself from my own feelings and my own even body sensations and stuff. I feel like that was one of the keys to me moving forward, and this program helped me do that. Yeah, when something is happening for me, I'm much quicker to tune into my body and recognize when it's not okay, when I'm not okay. And I don't know, there's something. I think there's a connection that's been restored there that was missing for probably my whole life. It's changed a lot of things. Just that awareness and the ability to just tap in and check in with myself on, you know, Small things and big things. I feel the most peace I felt in such a long time. Yeah, just I think being able to let go of a lot of resentment and a lot of hurt that I was clinging to. I feel I'm able to engage with him in a much more peaceful way, and that's been amazing. Plus also just the. The ability to completely let it go without feeling any kind of pull back towards him. Being able to say that I don't. I no longer feel that guilt and I no longer carry that weight. And everything is quite calm and smooth and peaceful now. It feels like a. Such a huge turnaround. I was struggling, especially with my youngest for many months there and really unsure what was happening for him. But he was obviously having a lot of big feelings about what was happening. And I'm sure there were other layers to it too, but, yeah, they are so much calmer and so much better within themselves. It's. I feel like I've got my kids back. I feel like I've got myself back and my kids back. And it's just. Yeah, I can't even describe it. It's the most wonderful thing. I struggled for many years with kind of gut issues, and I did not expect that this would be something that would be helped by this program. And I think just that whole tuning into your body thing and listening to yourself, it's really made such a huge difference. And I no longer have those issues, certainly not to the level that I used to. And. And that's not something that I was expecting at all. Just that the flow and effect to my physical health has been, yeah, really great. Even when, if I do get a sort of sudden flare of symptoms, I've found that I'll now stop and take a moment and check in with myself and hold myself, hold. Even, like, hold my stomach and just check in with my inner child. And I'll be asking, you know, what do you need? What. What do you need to tell me? Um, you know, is there anything that I can do for you? And there will always be something. There's always something that is the message. And once I know what the message is and sort of say, I hear you, I've got you, I'm going to take care of you. You don't need to worry about this, then, you know, the adult me gets to step in and just take care of things. And it's almost as if my whole body just relaxes and releases all that tension. And it's remarkable. The difference is huge for someone who's struggled with it since I was 17. It's, yeah, that's. It's life changing. Once you've got the skills and you know what you need to do to check in with yourself and that's just a smooth process, then there's really nothing you can't work through and get through. And it's, it really takes that fear of the unknown out of the equation because you realize, I think just deep, deep down, this, this sense that I've got my own back. There's really nothing that life could throw at me that I would not either already know how to do, how to manage or how to. How to get through with the skills I already have otherwise. I know that I'm resourceful enough to go and seek out the answers or the resources that I need. And I think the huge, huge shift for me is that I'm no longer afraid of being alone and I'm no longer afraid of being abandoned because I've got all this time and evidence and, yeah, the journey that I've just been on to prove that it's fine. Like, I'm, I'm. I'm doing great, I'm doing better than I've ever been doing in my life. And, yeah, there's nothing that can hold me back now. So I would say absolutely go for it, without question, because the impact it can have on your life is remarkable and worth absolutely every penny. And it's, it's that ongoing support of everyone in the group as well. You know, the amount of times that I've shown up to the sessions and just learned so much from the other women in the group as well, and their stories and their experiences. It's. I always walk away having learnt something or grown in some way and it's. I love that factor and I love that it's ongoing and I would say absolutely go for it.

I am proud that I said no to a man who initially seemed like a good match, when several red flags appeared. Suddenly after 2 dates he said a few things that really triggered me, really made me frightened and I then adjusted the course of the relationship- ending it. My former self would have seen this and rationalized it away.

$20,000 on osteos and acupuncturists couldn't fix what this program did.

I had a huge lightbulb moment in this program. I've spent over $20,000 on osteopaths and acupuncture for my chronic pain, but when I explored it with Amy, I realised it all started with my mother's trauma around falling pregnant with me. When I became pregnant, it was like a switch flicked and I turned into her, and that's when the pain and emotional struggles began. I've never seen my pain this way before - I always thought it was just physical. Now I understand it's deeply emotional and tied to generational trauma. That realisation is massive for me after 14 years of suffering, and it feels like I've finally found the root cause in this program. Through the immersions and somatic practices, I've felt these incredible shudders and releases - like my body is finally letting go after years of holding. I haven't needed to go back to the osteopath because my body is healing itself, and that feels like such a relief and a huge achievement.

At 67, I've finally stopped putting everyone else first

I'd been happily alone for seven years when a two-month relationship sent me into the darkest spiral of my life. Obsessing, stalking his Facebook, ashamed of myself, not recognising who I'd become. I told myself: I can't afford NOT to do this program. The rest of my life is worth it. And I didn't want to relive painful childhood wounds - I'd done that before in therapy. But this program is nothing like that. It's somatic, it's real, and it gets into the parts of you that actually hold the pain. It healed the people-pleasing, the shame, the need to put everyone else first. I even ran into him unexpectedly on a road trip - and didn't feel triggered at all. He wasn't on a pedestal anymore. I was free. What makes this program unique is Amy herself. She has lived this, and you can feel it. This is her purpose, not just her job - and that has been the biggest frosting on the cake. I'm 100% grateful I made the investment.

Video transcript: My name is kay Labella. I'm 67. I'm a mom of three kids, all adult kids. I love being a mother. Retired school teacher, and I'm now moved from Colorado to Idaho, and I'm building my own straw bale home that I love being in. It's unfinished, but I just love being here. And it's very. I love the mother Earth, and I love being where I am because I'm just surrounded by her beauty. I had been alone for about seven years and really happy and met this man who turned my life upside down. We were together for about two months, and it was long distance. And when I asked for, like, you know, just what I thought was healthy amount of communication, he was like, well, you know, maybe we just need to be friends. And it. I couldn't believe how it just put me into this tailspin of being dark, panicked. I didn't know who I was. I. Yeah, I was, like, stalking him on Facebook and seeing him pop up here and there and like, oh, he's got time to do all this, but he didn't have time to want to y. It was terrible. I mean, I really was like, who are you? I obsessed with it. I was really depressed. I was ashamed of myself for feeling that way, you know, So I tried all these different programs, but I. It just was. Every time I hiked with the dogs, every time I woke up, it was just this obsessive thinking of. Of shame and my shame. And I was like, I need to do something. I can't. I. This isn't how I want to live. I need to take care of whatever's coming up here. And, you know, I definitely was like, can I really afford this? And I was like, I can't afford not to do this. The rest of my life is worth it. This is not who I want to be, and I need to know how to get over this. So I was like, yeah, I'm worth this, and I'm gonna sign up. And I'm so glad I did. So glad for asking you too. I don't want to go back and relive all of the painful childhood stuff. You know, I've done EMDR and relive that. I just want to move forward. And you're like, that's how I do things. It's healed that. Those fears and that the need to. To be the people pleaser, to put other people's opinions first, to pay attention to what is important to me, to pay attention to my bodily, you know, reactions or whatever and say, okay, what's going on there. And I. I saw Shane. Oh, gosh, it was in October on a road trip. I didn't know I was going to, but I did. And I was able to spend a couple days hanging out with him and not have that longing. I saw him for who he was. He wasn't up on this pedestal anymore. And I'm really grateful for that because anytime, you know, like, he pop up on Facebook, I'd be like. And now it's just like, he is who he is, and he has his struggles, too, and I don't need to be angry with them, but I'm definitely not. You know, it just doesn't trigger anything anymore. And I'm really grateful for that. And I would say that 100%, I'm really grateful that I made the investment and that for me, your program is unique. It's. It isn't just talk therapy. It isn't just read and journal and reflect and. But it's. It's the somatic, bodily stuff. It's the getting in touch with those parts of ourselves in a real way. It's not like a foreign. It's. It brings it so it's real. And just you personally, working with you personally, I can tell you care. I can tell you have a passion to really make a difference in our lives. You're not just doing it because that's what you went to school for and it's your job and it's income, but you really. You have lived through it and have experienced what. You just connect. And that is. Has been the biggest frosting on the cake, you know, it really is.

So much faster than therapy

I've made so many more strides just with the short time I've been with you than like all the years I've been talking about it in therapy. I just feel like I've come to so many realizations and just felt like a lot of release and healing in just a short amount of time that we've been together. So I am very grateful!

I’m so grateful to you Amy and to this wonderful program. It has been truly life changing. You will all know how wonderful it is to have peace of mind and be free of emotional turmoil. I have had some physical pain lately but it’s nothing compared to the emotional pain I used to experience. ❤️😢🥰

I just want to say how incredibly grateful I am for this program. Amy, I truly appreciate you for creating this space because I've been struggling for so many years, and for the first time, I finally feel like I'm making real progress. It's like I've been wading through mud for so long, but now I can actually see myself moving forward in my recovery. It's an amazing feeling to be able to really sit with my emotions instead of avoiding them. My mindset has shifted so much - I don't want to feel like a victim of my circumstances anymore. I want to embrace a positive outlook because I truly believe that's how I can attract more positivity into my life. I just can't express enough how thankful I am to have found this. I really appreciate you and this work, Amy. It feels like I can trust this process.

This Course Came Like a Divine Intervention!

I was navigating myself out of a 14-year marriage that was unhealthy on many levels, and as I was uncovering what about that was unhealthy, I started realising how much of it was coming from my own woundedness. One of the biggest things this work gave me was a safe space to grow in, even while still having to deal with him every day and every week as a co-parent. I was able to craft radical boundaries, and now it doesn’t feel so painful anymore. I don’t feel affected by him on a personal level. It doesn’t affect me, Erica, in my heart anymore. It’s more just logistics and nonsense I have to deal with. Through the course, I started shifting back into my own healthy feminine parts, reconnecting with my sexuality, and being able to recognise what a green flag actually feels like. I’ve now been in a new relationship for a little over five months, and I’m realising, “Oh, I’m actually landing in a healthy relationship right now.” Before, there was a compulsion to either attach really hard or run away really fast, but now it feels spacious. It feels like I have choice. When discomfort comes up, I don’t spiral in the same way. I can trust the ebb and flow of it. I feel like this course came like a divine intervention at the time I needed it, and I don’t think I would have stopped repeating patterns without it. I could not recommend it enough.

Video transcript: So I was navigating myself out of a 14 year marriage that was unhealthy on many levels. And then as I was uncovering kind of what about that was unhealthy, I was realizing how much of that was coming from my own woundedness. And so in a lot of different explorations and different things I was doing on my own, I came across your videos, which then became a clear, like I was like, this is, this is the path I need to take. And so you appeared at the right time. So one of the biggest struggles I had wasn't so much in leaving him because I had a lot of anger. I had a huge angry part that fueled a lot of my ability to like go forward. But I had a lot of also at the same time, like equally strong, like critical voices that had a lot of fear about what this means about me. And, and so that feeling was like the sadness, like it's one thing to grieve the relationship, but then grieving the parts of myself or the regret or a lot of shaming parts about that for me, walk me through the changes that have happened in particular, you know, what's just recently happened. Sure. So. So some of the early stuff with getting out of the relationship was being able to have like a safe space when I would be in his presence again, to not immediately feel like triggered and then actually have like these radical boundaries be able to be crafted so that I have this like safe container to grow in, even if because we have children. So I'm dealing with him on an every day and every week kind of basis. And that doesn't feel so painful anymore. I actually don't feel affected by him on a personal level. Like it doesn't affect me, Erica, in my heart. It's more like logistics and nonsense I have to deal with with his personality type as a co parent. And then I wasn't necessarily like ready or I didn't think. I wasn't like putting myself out there in the world to be like I want a date or I didn't go on any apps or anything, but just really shifting into like my own healthy feminine parts and kind of tapping back into like sexuality component and all of these things that felt very far away. Even though I knew I needed this aspect of my life. I ended up meeting someone in the wild, as you say, not really meaning to at all. And being able to see what like a green flag is like. I'm like, oh, forget looking for this, the red flags. But being able to cautiously, like you say with a scientist mind like, just be like, is this feeling good? And is it feeling good, like, inside? And I've now been in a new relationship for a little over five months. And it started out as a great chemistry, which was a huge opening back to my world of, like, my full feminine energy, which helped a lot of healing, I think, in its own right. But then it also has this kind of really beautiful blend of where I'm like, this is a person I enjoy talking to. This is a friend, for sure. A friend first. Um, and I'm like, oh, I'm actually landing in a healthy relationship right now. I feel like before there was a compulsion where it felt like if I was feeling that way, I had to run in either direction, either attach really hard or run away really fast. And usually I would attach really hard and not run away, but then also share with that person, like, what's happening so that somehow I could be soothed from them by them, rather than now sharing, like, as if this is another adult who's next to me and I'm an adult. And I'm like, yeah, it's really interesting for me. Some of these things are coming up, and these are the things, and this is what I'm doing about it. And I can feel thankful for the container of our relationship. And then he can share things that, like, would feel similar for him. And it just kind of like, it ends there. It doesn't have to go into some spiral, and then the safety container is present, and then I just move on a little bit more easily. It feels like. It feels spacious. It feels like I have choice. Like, you know, and it also feels that, like, even it's not just like, oh, wow, peachy keen, everything's easy. It's not that either. It's more that when there's discomfort, there's a trusting in that. That's an ebb and flow. Like, that's the ebb and flow of something that comes up. And it doesn't mean that that's going to spiral into something. So there's not such a grasping or, like, a panic feeling. So definitely there's space for, like, letting that be. I think I'm pleasantly surprised by how in touch with my sexuality I've been able to be. Like, that's definitely been. And I've not. I. I wasn't someone that was closed off in that way. At least I didn't think so. But the relationships that I would have were such that I had to be or was or something so toxic about the dynamic. And there's, like, a level of comfort. And it's not because my body is the way I want it. It's not because of any of these extra sort of surface things that before I would think were the reasons. I'm just having access to like a pleasure and an ability for pleasure in my physical body that I thought I had access to. And I have access to way more than I, than I realized. I feel like this course came like a divine intervention at the time I needed it. And whether you're doing the course like exactly 100% and being on every check in or not almost feels irrelevant. It's just that you just do it. Like you just do it and you take what you can when you can, and there'll be times you can absorb a lot and there's times you absorb nothing. And then. But somehow just being in that fertile soil, better things grow. So I feel that I would do it again. Like, if I had to go back and do it again, I would do it again. I would never, ever have not done this course. I could not recommend it enough to read as the truth. I just, I feel really grateful to the group. I feel grateful to you. I think that the coursework is brilliant and there's enough kind of different things to pick and choose from. It's like a cornucopia of like, things that can help you heal in this particular land, but it's also specific enough where, where you're like, just follow the plan and it's going to be better. Yeah, I feel grateful. I think I would have just repeated patterns as the bottom line.

This program is the path to freedom

Twenty years ago, I fell deeply in love with a man who simply couldn't free himself from marriage. I kept hoping, and waiting. And somewhere along the way, I stopped being available to my own life. When I finally made the decision to free myself permanently, I found Amy - and the timing couldn't have been more perfect. Through the program, I started seeing the patterns I'd carried my whole life. I'd been living my mother's story - unconsciously drawn to unavailable men because deep down, real love felt dangerous. The somatic work cracked something open. I stopped searching outside myself for love and affirmation and began giving those things to myself. For the first time, I felt anchored in myself rather than in another person. The results have been profound. I don't have to hide anymore. There's a little family of inner children inside of me now, and I'm learning to see her, hear her, and fiercely protect her. This is one of the best investments I have ever made in myself. Heal Your Heart School is a path to freedom, and to a deeper, more honest love.

Video transcript: Heal your heart. School is a path to freedom. It's a path to deeper and more honest love for ourselves and for a potential partner. All my life I've been living my mother's story. I've been living what she wanted for me, and that was to never be hurt by a man the way she felt hurt when her marriage broke up. And in those days, I was quite young, in those days, to be alone with children was. It carried a lot of shame. And I believe that that shame was passed on to me all unconsciously. But I can remember her telling me, don't you ever tell anybody at school that your father isn't at home. And that was something to really be ashamed of. So on it in. In some ways, as a child, I began to believe that it was really dangerous to be deeply involved with a man. And that sounds weird, that sounds so crazy, but it unconsciously I carried that. When mum died, I was at a very impressionable age, 15, so a big part of me felt that I had to stay loyal to her wish for me never to marry. I knew by then that's what she wanted. So on leaving school, I gave myself totally to my study and my work in service of others, always putting myself and my needs last. I just didn't give myself a choice. So in this course, it's really coming home to me that I can have needs, I can say no, I can set boundaries. Because I look back and I see my poor ability to set boundaries led me into relationships over the years with unavailable men. And unconsciously, I can see now why that felt so much safer for me. And so I've learned a lot through all of this. And although I did genuinely feel loved, and especially in the last relationship, which was the longest one, I always wanted to be chosen and I never could be because that wasn't a possibility. So it all makes sense so much now. And in the end, I realized that it was far more important for me to stand tall and free and anchored in myself, not in another person. So really, through this work and especially in this course, I'm learning to choose myself. It just feels like I can now stand up for myself and I can. I don't have to hide. I don't have to hide anything. And that's. That was one of the biggest difficulties for me in this beautiful relationship that I've just left. I had to hide and I don't. I don't deserve to hide. Yeah, feels like I'm. There's a new level of freedom and especially with regard to the story My mum's story. I've realized, you know, that I could. My story is different. I can give her story back to her. And that has been so, so freeing. One of the most important things I've learned, or it's come more important in my, in my awareness, is self care, developing a relationship with my inner child and my inner parts. I, I knew about inner child work and all of that and inner parts, but this is, this course has really sharpened my awareness and I now feel like there's a little family inside of me and I'm not alone anymore. I'm taking care of somebody and that is me. And that feels amazing. That really does feel. It changes the whole way that I relate to myself. So my surprise is, yeah, she's still in there. And I'm learning to see her and I'm learning to hear her and most importantly, I'm learning to protect her. And I know I need a lot of practice at that, but that's been amazing. And it's been a really big revelation for me to realize that I don't have to look outside myself anymore for affirmation and love and appreciation because I'm giving those to myself in the exercises that we do in this course. And I actually must give them to myself. I must give those things to myself. The other really exciting thing I'm learning is I'm responsible for only 50% and my 50%. And I'm learning how to leave the other person or people free to do whatever they want with their 50%. And on reflection, I was thinking, I'm. I know I've. I've. Sometimes you meet people that take up part of your, your 50%. But a lot of times I've been the one who has taken up more than my 50%. And that's out of my own anxiety because I've taken on responsibility for their happiness. And there was something programmed into me like a deep imprint that said if, if everyone else is happy, then I can be happy. And now I'm learning that that's not true and it's, it's impossible. So it's so freeing to let go of that. And I'm allowing myself the discomfort of staying out of their 50%. And I love reminding myself about that, you know, that it's actually not comfortable, but I'm starting to do it. I would recommend this program to any friends, even if they're not dealing with a relationship breakup, because it's so much about ourselves and learning to love ourselves and appreciate ourselves. I'm sure that my Friends can already see the difference in me. I can see the difference in me. And you know, it's these, these processes or techniques are just so life giving. They would be good for anybody. I did gulp at the initial cost financially, but I can, that only lasted for that day. As soon as I saw what was, what was going to be the reward, I think, yes, it's worth every, every cent. It's one of the best investments I've made in myself. I never, I don't, I've got no regrets whatsoever. It's only going to make me a happier person, a more alive person. I've also made a very big time commitment to myself and I'm really lucky because I'm retired so I've, I can choose. I can say I'm going to spend half the morning every morning. Yeah, that's doing my inner work. And I realized a lot of other people have got work and children and you know, family commitments which I don't have. So I'm enjoying that, that gift of just being, being able to give that to myself. My attitude is that, you know, I've worked hard all my life for other people and now these years are for me. Here's what I value the most about the program. It's endless. It's really a life's work. It's just ongoing and I think that's really valuable. The work comes with reliable support for as long as we need it. And what I love is that all sections of the course dovetail into each other. And in a way that's why it's endless because we can keep returning and revisiting and redoing all of the exercises as we really immerse ourselves in healing the deeper layers that are bound to come up just in beginning this work. And also I've noticed that you keep on adding to the program and revising it constantly and I think that really makes it a living program. It's not something that you just buy online and that's it and it's set. I really value that. The fact that it's changing, it's evolving, it's ongoing. The other valuable thing that I think about this program is that there's really no set timeline for it. Everybody who is doing this work is working along at a very individual pace. Like we can stay in a module for as long as we like. I've for example, I've been in the, the module on boundaries because I need to be there for probably longer than, than other people stay in it. And we can just move when it feels right for us. So it's not like other programs where everybody has to be up, up to date with, you know, this week and next week and the week after. It's not like that. It's very fluid. But at the same time, if any of us feel stuck, we can. You are always encouraging us to reach out for help to, to move on and so we can get support that way. The other big advantage about this work is the, the group, the weekly check ins and the emotions. The monthly immersions are so, so valuable and they offer us valuable support because we can share the journeys of others. And it's just amazing to see people changing. You can see their whole face change and their whole aura is opening up as they go along. And it also gives us the opportunity to honour our own work by sharing with trusted others in this safe platform. And that's just so valuable, especially for women like us who have often been hurt and we need to feel safe. I believe that this program has been very carefully thought out. So if we do it in a linear way, each skill is actually building on the next. On the previous one, and my last comment would be that the exercises in this program have really gradually led me to see my whole life in a different perspective. And I've been able to see, well, probably because I've done so much other work as well, but this has really pointed me in seeing the deeper patterns that set me up for the choices that I've made in my life. And that's just been really.
