Into Design Systems is a great reference in the design systems community. It's trully remarcable how they have been growing, becoming one of the top references regarding design systems, and how much appealing their events are, even when they are hybrid or full remote! Big kudos for Sil and the rest of the team, when I grow up I want to be like you 😅❤️
I had so much fun presenting last night at the #IntoDesignSystems meet-up at #Meta ✨✨ My first time speaking at a design system event!!! Waaaaaa! 🙌🏻 Although it wasn’t my first public talk, it was the first time speaking to a community that I love and admire, about a topic that I love and adore. It was nerve-racking but I loved every moment! ❤️ I shared my take on the LeanUX framework and how you can best utilise this to cater for design systems: LeanDS. Alongside this I shared my tips and approach to research alongside the framework, to help with planning and to ensure you think holistically about the goals and direction of your design system. 🚀 I hope that you all found it enjoyable but most of all useful and that you were able to take something away from it to help with your own design systems work. I loved the instance and felt closer to my dream of being a great contributor to the design system culture around the world. I was pretty curious about how WhatsApp solved the main challenges. And I loved Marianne's framework and the way she adapted it to DS reality.
Into Design Systems has become an indispensable resource for anyone passionate about design and innovation. Whether you're a seasoned professional or a budding designer, this conference offers a wealth of knowledge and inspiration that will propel your career to new heights. I can't recommend it highly enough!
I'm super happy IDS will have a workshop with Nathan Curtis this year! I've been to one of his workshops and it was amazing! He really knows how to split the time well, provide enough information and do a ton of practical exercises. He puts a lot of effort into his content, you can really feel it! I'm a big fan!
The knowledge provided by Into Design Systems helped me get onboarded to Design Systems best practices at light speed! I was unaware of design systems until I came across one of your videos on YouTube. I found it fascinating to discover so much that I hadn't known before. Subsequently, I started following IDS on Twitter, and since then, I've been engaging with and gaining insights from panelists of IDS conferences across various social media platforms.
The 'Into Design Systems' conference is a must-attend event for anyone serious about mastering design systems. I attended it over the past two years, and it has impacted my approach to design systems, especially on design tokens, providing me with actionable insights and techniques that I've successfully integrated into my daily work. The conference is an investment in professional growth and an opportunity to connect with experts committed to excellence in design systems.
I had the opportunity to attend the Into Design Systems conference in Stockholm. It was striking for me how well the speakers have been curated. While design systems managers and operators from companies like Spotify and Volvo shared their experiences on large-scale systems, other speakers shared insights from smaller teams. This should be the way at each tech conference so it's easier to resonate with. Sil is definitely doing a fantastic job keeping the quality high at the events. Apart from all my learnings, I had a great time during the talks and met new people from the same industry. Don't miss the Into Design Systems conference/meetup if they are in your town.
