I knew I wanted to become a better leader without having to change who I am to fit in. I chose to work with Roberta because, given her experience and professional background as a leader in tech and the fact that a good listener; I knew she would understand my context and career path well. And I'm so thankful because I have changed my approach to leadership and my rush to demonstrate what I'm capable of.  I have gotten better at thinking long-term, and empathizing with both my peers and reports and understanding that meaningful change is thoughtful and it takes time.
