“When I first started on LinkedIn, I had zero confidence, but I knew I wanted to start a personal brand. I just didn't quite have the sense and direction on where to take it. I was a terrible LinkedIn lurker. So when I was scrolling through LinkedIn one day, I came across Mariam and I absolutely loved her page. And when it came to things like my banner picture and my profile picture, I said, madam, I don't even know how many drafts, but she was so helpful and gave me all the tips that I needed to really just perfect it and get it how I wanted it to look. I reached out to Mariam again when I felt that I wasn't really getting anywhere with LinkedIn. I was seeing minimal engagement, minimal impressions, and I just kind of felt like I didn't really want to do it anymore. I kind of lost track, and I'm not going to lie, but I reached out to Mariam and she just gave me loads of support again. Told me, don't worry, keep going, push through it. It will come one day. You've just got to be consistent. So that's exactly what I did and it totally paid off. Mariam started the LinkedIn Academy and I knew I wanted to join because I just thought that she was so helpful, gave me so much advice and support, and I just knew that I wanted to take my personal brand that little bit further and do as much as I could to boost my online presence. I love being part of such a supportive community of people, and Mariam is so helpful anytime I have any questions, she's there. Twenty four seven. And she always offers the best advice. I think I've said that about 100 times in this video, but I swear it's true. The past week for me on LinkedIn has been absolutely crazy. I think I've gained 1300 followers in six days. My impressions and engagements are through the roof. And I think I've finally got to that point that Mariam told me to push through to where I've kind of hit that spot where I've been consistent, I've provided the value, and now it's really paying off. Working with Mariam since the first day I messaged her has just been absolutely incredible. And she's given me so, so much value again. I can't express enough how much value she's given me and so much advice. And honestly, just the support itself to keep going, to keep pushing and just to make sure that I was still keeping on that personal brand journey, I just cannot anchor enough.”
