The atmosphere here is amazing. Very laid back, but structured in a way that gives you a good idea of how the trucking industry works. You’re required to be driven to ask questions and not wing it, because the knowledge here is abundant and you’ll only be shorting yourself if you coast through. My Class B instructor was Frenchy. He’s got a great personality and approaches learning about the trucks directly hands on, lets you make your mistake and then explains how to improve on it. If I suggest any instructor, it would be Frenchy. Absolutely amazing place!

I absolutely love this company. This trucking school isn’t just a place where people come to expand their education or start a lifelong career, it’s a place where values and morals are taught and lived out. Over the past month, with temperatures being frigid, I’ve seen so many people walking in the cold. My first thought is always, that’s awful. But my second thought is one that this school truly reinforces—is pick them up. They may not take the ride, but it’s always worth offering. Of course, safety comes first, be smart, do it when it’s safe, and when your kids aren’t in the car. Yes, bad people exist, but this company reminds me that there is far more good in this world than we often realize. This school doesn’t just train drivers it builds character, compassion, and community. I’m incredibly grateful for what they stand for and the example they set. Our community is blessed with the best. Highly recommend.

Midwest Truck Driving School is a great school to attend. I feel the 4 week class A CDL course covers everything you need to know in the time of the class. They do a great job taking the time to make sure everyone is understanding what they are teaching. I had Bill as an instructor and he did a good job teaching us the maneuvers, pre trip inspections and driving/shifting. He had a great attitude everyday, our crew laughed all day everyday. A quote from Bill “I could’ve licked the sticker off his license plate you were so close to him.” He let us know when we were doing something wrong but always found a way to make us laugh while doing so. I highly recommend Midwest Truck Driving School.

Every instructor and coordinator at this school is very respectful, helpful and patient. I can say leaving here I am confident and certain that I will love driving big rigs. There is always more to learn, so don’t ever be comfortable where you’re at, always strive to learn more and listen to what others have to say. They said usually takes 24hrs to get your certificate but they understood my circumstance that I was already at the dmv when I called them after completing the course and they had everything submitted and emailed back to me in under 15 minutes of my original call to them highly recommend them!
