Still in the process of completing the course but I love that it fills knowledge gaps on my part, puts things into perspective, and the practical parts are šŸ”„ Great work!

@lazarinastoy is the reference on the merge of SEO and Data science. Her @Brightonseo speech about creating topic models, finding links with machine learning is extremely useful! Well done Lazarina!!

I recently took the Introduction to Machine Learning Course by Lazarina Stoy and I have to say I’m super pleased with it. I’d give it a full 5/5. What I really liked is that the course has something for everyone. If you’re just starting out, the way the theory is explained makes it really easy to follow and you get plenty of resources to apply learnings straight away If you’re more experienced, there are plenty of opportunities to dig deeper and explore more advanced use cases, plus lots of ready-made code and examples you can adapt. I even integrated some of the resources directly into my own projects, which was a huge time-saver. ML can be a dense and complicated subject, but Lazarina explains everything in a way that feels engaging and accessible. Not overwhelming but also not watered down. She is great at breaking things down clearly, which makes the subject far less intimidating. The learning materials are really well thought out and cater to different learner styles. There are clear slides and transcript if you like to take things in step by step, videos if you prefer to watch and listen, and labs/notebooks if you’re more hands-on and like to learn by doing. I found the mix super helpful. I could watch a video (and it was understandable even at 1.5 speed!), then jump straight into the code to apply it myself, and still have the slides as a quick reference later. Plus, the Slack community is a nice bonus for bouncing around ideas with others, and the newsletter helps keep the learning going even after the course. All in all, it’s been a brilliant experience. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone in SEO who wants to level up with ML, whether you’re a beginner or already working in the field.
