Moneywise has been a positive influence on my concerns about my financial health - worries about savings, buying a house, being financially secure while also meeting the current financial demands of running a home, a career, a car and needs of four children on my wage (which DEFINITELY needs to be more!) Being able to have a chat with someone with financial knowledge and insight to my worries and able to give proper doctor-related practical advice as well KNOWLEDGEABLE direction was sincerely one of the best things for my mental health. I have been one of those Ostrich "head in sand" type persons when it comes to money and decisions about it. I think being a Doctor with barely any time from med school to training to do anything else but study and work made that worse! Years have gone past and I realised I have not been very savvy in my planning for the future (and even the present sometimes!) So finding a platform like yours run by a fellow colleague with applicable and relevant advice has been Uber revealing and educating for me. I have always run from things like investing in the past claiming no money, no time and lack of understanding but even little nuggets you have shared like using investment platforms to dip one's toe in and advise to do one's research/get information (knowledge is power right?!🙂) have all helped towards overcoming that fear and taking those first steps forward.
