Video transcript: Hi there, I'm Keshe. I'm an artist running an educational business around art and drawing. And this is my testimonial for my working thing with Ollie Richards. And I'm really happy to do this right now, to be honest. And it's just been a few months since me and Ollie started working. It's just been three months or so. But a piece of advice that he gave me that was just three minutes long, and I know it's three minutes long because I recorded it made us $31,000 in seven days in our business. And I'm sort of starting with that to say that this man is just full of experience, full of wisdom, because he's been there and done that. You're just confused, you don't know what to do, what kind of strategies to follow, what not to do. Especially that is a very big thing right there. I was sort of spending a majority of my time trying to figure out what to do and what not to do. And it was so easy. When I just started working with Ollie, it was like, hey man, just don't do these things because you find these pitfalls. How do I know? Well, I've been there. I've been doing that for a decade. That's one of the things right there. I love taking advice from people who've been there, done that. As in like people who are already there where I want to be because they've gone through similar experience or similar experiences and they'll be facing similar obstacles. So that was just amazing. And his strategies are extremely simple and to the point and contextual to you as a person. As in he really works with you and finds out what you really want and asks very good questions in order to get better answers. So that we uncover or discover what is the actual goal that we're working towards and what is a very specific and an effective strategy, avoiding a lot of pitfalls that will help us get us to that goal. So some of the strategies we started implementing are already showing lots of results and I can see the direction that we're going in and I know it's a long game and it's just been three months and Even, like, Oliver's like, hey, man, don't have to do this thing. If you want to sort of wait till the end of our mentorship, feel free. And I was like, no, I want to do this thing right now, because I see the value in that. I've seen the value in that, literally in terms of, you know, actual numbers, but also in terms of work experience and in terms of the relationship that we have as a mentor and a mentee. And it's really nice. It's just a cool dude giving you good, good advice, good strategies, and then just helping you do the thing that you really want to do. And I'm so happy to, you know, work with Ollie and, you know, do this. Go along this mini journey for a year or so. And I highly recommend, to be honest, I highly recommend and just, like, from the bottom of my heart, anyone who wants to save five years of your time in their education business, work with someone like this, because who wouldn't if you want to waste five years of your time? I mean, you can do things by experimenting and doing things yourself. You learn that way. That is one way of doing things. But in my opinion, I found that it's just extremely exhausting. After a certain. Certain point, you're, like, really tired of experimenting. You just want to, like, just. Just give it to me, right? Just tell me what to do, tell me what not to do. And it's good to learn from people who have done the thing that you want to do so that you can actually do new things and do better things, you know, eventually, like, focus your energies on doing other things. And that's the mindset I came from. With. Came with when I was sort of wanting to work with Ali. And, yeah, it has been lovely. So if you want to say five years, I'd say, yeah, that's the deal.

Video transcript: Hi, my name is Kieran Drew, and just leaving this video for a quick note about my experiences with Olly Richards mentorship program. So when I met Olly, I had two digital products and was roughly sitting at around the 200k a year mark. And the reason why I hired Olly was because we started chatting before the mentorship and I asked him for advice several times and he said something that was really interesting. I can safely say that I made my money back within the first week, actually, because he gave me one tip around my launch that would have cost me way more than what I actually paid him. And that has just been compounding more and more. The great thing is every single decision that I make is always available to discuss with, so I feel like I've learned a considerable amount more. And, yeah, you just feel like you've got really good contact. So, you know, I'd recommend for anyone that's building an online business and wants this guiding hand to get to the next level, particularly if you're looking for someone that's, you know, smart, friendly, and in my opinion, very good at decision making, so I hope that helps.

Video transcript: Hey, I'm Chris Ritson. Over a year ago, I hired Olly as my mentor, and at the time, it was the biggest investment that my business had made by about 22x. So I was a little bit nervous about what I would get out of the program, but honestly, it was the best investment I ever made. Main reason why I made the investment in the first place, because I knew something was. Was wrong in my business. I knew my strategy was a little bit off. I knew my focus was a little bit off. And if I could find the right person's brain and use their experience, I felt really, really strongly that I'll be able to accelerate the growth of the company and really build a business that I loved and thrived in, which was my biggest goal of the business. Giving me the foundation of building a very, very strong business that I can reinvest in as I need to. I'm not also, you know, chasing big deals and feeling really panicked, you know, solely about. About those. Those kind of, you know, singular moments in time every two or three months, which is where I was at before. I then also got three boot camps and. And one of the key results that we got from the boot camps was we doubled the price, but then we actually halved the amount of boot camps I do. So I've kept essentially, like the same amount of revenue within the boot camps, but I do half the amount of a, you know, annual basis, basically, which is amazing. It's also been amazing for my brand and for my audience because I'm not constantly offering them the same thing and selling to them. I can build trust. I can build a relationship over a long period of time, nurture them, and then sell to them at a much higher price, which has also helped me attract a lot higher quality of customer as well. And then the final thing is, is my Golden Glove customized programs that I run. Olly really gave me the confidence to increase the price, but also stand by my as an entrepreneur and as a business owner and stopped me from working with people that weren't going to support me from a values perspective, stop me saying yes to every project that kind of didn't really fit with where I wanted to take the business. What that meant was I could redirect all that energy and time into customers that did really understand what I was trying to help them achieve. And what that has meant is it's from a team training perspective. Every team training deal or big deal that I've done high ticket has increased as an app from an average order value perspective by over 30%. And I also do less of the ones that I really, really kind of hate doing. Which as an entrepreneur I think is really important. Right. Ultimately, for someone like me building a lifestyle business, it's important that lifestyle comes first and that isn't wrecked by working with customers that you kind of just hate working with. So being able to do that has been a monumental shift for me. I couldn't thank Olly enough and I, I couldn't, you know, attribute enough of, of of this to him. His guidance, his strategy and just being there every step along the way. Sometimes you just need someone to, to support you and give you the confidence to be able to go and execute and, and Olly was really that person for me. So, yeah, if you're thinking about working with him 100%, just go for it. In a year's time, you will not be able to thank yourself enough for making that decision.

Video transcript: Hey, I'm Michael Bungay Stanier. I'm the author of the Coaching Habit. That's the thing I'm best known for. I'm also the creator of a project called Change Signal. And that is why I hired Ollie. Because I knew right from the start I needed somebody to help do two things to A, make this a business, so I didn't stay in a kind of sloppy amateur mode, which is my inclination, and B, help me keep having a life because I have a great life and I didn't want to sacrifice that on the altar of starting up a new business. Now, ironically, what I found out is there may not be a business and Change Signal. And actually Ollie's coaching has accelerated my insight and understanding about that and just made really clear the choices I need to make. If I want to turn this into a business and I want to do it efficiently and effectively so I still have a life, then these are the steps I might need to take. So I would say there are three things that I've really appreciated about Ollie. First of all, he's British, so A, he's got a pretty good dry sense of humor. And because I'm Australian, I can slightly mock him because, you know, Australians mock the Brits. That's what we do. It's part of a nationalized ritual. Secondly, he always feels really current, like, this isn't let me teach you what I did three years ago or four years ago or five years ago. He's like, let me tell you what I'm learning right now. It's a very up to date experience. You can tell that he is, as Tennyson would put it, a man in the arena. He's got blood and sweat on his face and he's testing and experimenting and learning and growing his own stuff all the time. Thirdly, he's really generous with introductions. He's like, you should talk to this person. You should try test out that person. Let me connect you with the person over here. I think there's probably four or five conversations I've had that I wouldn't otherwise have had because Ollie's made the connection for me. And the fifth one, the fourth fifth, I can't remember where I am in my points, but the other one is I just really like that he's not somebody who's all about the let me scale, let me grind for the sake of scaling and grinding and money. He's about, how do you have a life that is enjoyed in the moment whilst also being an entrepreneur? And that's pretty refreshing. And it's pretty rare, somebody who's able to not only do this for himself, but to say, this is how I'm learning how to do it. Let me teach you how to do it as well. I'm not sure about the fate of Change Signal. What hasn't happened is it suddenly turned into a brilliant business. But that is in no way a reflection on Ollie. It's a reflection on me and it's actually a reflection that. And this is a really valuable outcome. This may not be a project that I want to pursue. I mean, honestly, to get clear on a no is almost more important than getting clear on a yes. And I wouldn't have done that without Ollie's help. So if you're looking for somebody with insight about a growth, about personal branding, about scaling, about having a life, you should definitely get into a conversation with Ollie. Video transcript: Over the years, I've just become better at, like, feeling my feelings and recognizing when something feels good internally and when it doesn't feel good internally. Maybe that's why the title of the book is Feel Good Productivity. I just thought of that. I was speaking to one of my mentors. His name is Oli Richards. He's great. He has a main YouTube channel which is about language learning, and a second YouTube channel which is about building an online education business. If you're interested in online education business, you should check out his second channel. I'll put a link down below. But something that Ollie and I were talking about as well was like, you know, he. He asked the question of when you're. When you're sort of pondering these different directions the business could go, how do you feel energetically about them? And a few years ago, if someone had asked me, how do I feel energetically about this? I'd have been like, dude, what the frick are you talking about? But when Ollie asked that question a few months ago, I was like, oh, that's the right question. How do I feel energetically? I get it. Yeah. I feel energetically weird about trying to build multiple brands and build a business to sell so that one day I can sell it for 20 million or whatever. But I feel energetically good about simplifying the business, keeping it focused on just making. Just trying to make good content and keep it good. Reading and learning more stuff and making videos about it and making a course every now and then and writing a book every now and then. That feels energetically right. And he was like, it's good to know that. And, yeah, a big part of my decision making now around things is what feels energetically right. Man, I feel so weird saying that, but it's fine. It feels energetically right to kind of talk about this. And since making this decision to simplify the business, it really has felt like a whole breath of fresh air. I should stop inverted comments and feeling stuff. It's really felt like a whole breath of fresh air going through my system, going in some ways through the team as well, where it's like, oh, now that we're not trying to build three different businesses and three different brands with the same size team. Oh, okay. We can just. We can just really focus on. Oh, it. Yeah, we get it. Like just having one website. Oh, my goodness, that's so much more simple than having three different websites. Oh, just having one online courses platform where we sell all of our stuff from one checkout. Oh, that's such a breath. Yes. So good. Oh, my God, what a nightmare it is to try and maintain three different checkout providers and three different checkout systems and checkout stripe accounts, which are going to three different bank accounts which are ultimately trying to go into three different P and L. Oh, God, what a nightmare that was. But you can feel, hopefully the relief that's coming across as I'm like, oh, hallelujah. We are simplifying things. Man, that feels good to get that off my chest. What a nice feeling just to be like, yes, simple. Simple is good. I think at a certain stage of life, you have to do the things that, like, you should do and stuff, but it's sort of like, what's the point of. What's the point of building a business that is a prison for yourself? These are. I'm mostly just sort of speaking to myself here. What is the point of building a business that's. That's like a prison? What's the point? You got the money. You quit the day job because you didn't enjoy the day job, and now you're making all this money and you've got all this passive income and stuff. There are no more shoulds. You can, in fact, just do whatever the frick you want and you'll probably make a couple million, a couple of million dollars in profit every year to doing that. That sounds pretty freaking good.

Video transcript: Hi, I'm Robin. I'm 51 years old. I'm Dutch, but I live in Andorra. And I've been working with Oli for about a year now. And he's been helping me, mentoring me, and I don't think I was one of the regular persons that he offers mentoring to because when I started out, I had nothing. All I had was a promise to my future self that I would help people with coaching and that I was looking for help in that space. And otherwise I didn't have anything. I didn't have a following, I didn't have a newsletter, I didn't have a value proposition, none of that. So we really started from scratch. So I was looking for help because just like reading books, if you can take a shortcut, reading a book is like a shortcut of 20 years of somebody's experience and you read it in six hours. And that's the same way with working with the best in the field. So I was looking for the best in the field and I came across several people. But why I chose Oli is really because he's UK based, very down to earth, and from all the content that he's sharing, you really see that he understands business. And I can bore you with all the stats, like how many followers I have now on LinkedIn or how much did I post or what my special voice is, or all that kind of stuff, but I think it's kind of boring. A couple of things did stand out for me that I think are worth mentioning. One of them is I have a couple of other businesses, so I'm kind of like, busy. And in those other businesses, I have partners, and those partners help me grow and I help them grow and we push each other. And with the personal brand that I have now and with the coaching, I'm doing this on my own. So it was extremely. It had a lot of work for me to have somebody in my corner. And I'm not saying that you should work with Ollie only to have an accountability partner, but a different function like that for me. So outside of my businesses that I had to manage, I also thought, oh, yeah, yeah, I have to do this because I have this call with Ollie coming up and then so helping my intrinsic motivation. So that was a. That was a big thing. Another thing was my daughter used to dance a lot in competitions, like seven, eight years ago. But we also like to travel, so sometimes we go on a vacation. And the choreo that she had to practice for competition wasn't finished yet. So then we go to New Zealand. And if you don't know, in New Zealand, there are very good dance schools we go to best, and she gets private lessons there. And we say to a guy, and can you also finish the choreo? And he'd listen to the music and look at the moves and say, yeah, no, well, okay, let's do this, let's do that. And then something. Because it didn't really fit. Then he did something that blew my mind and he changed the music because he understood that it's the performance as a total that counts and not just shifting around the dancing. And I saw the same thing with Ollie. So he can look very holistically with for the complete business and not look at only one segment, but know that it's about the complete performance. And just had a call with him a couple of weeks ago, and he helped me out with a landing page, and it's just. It's wonderful to see a master at work. Click, clack, click. And all of a sudden I had a new landing page and also with the copy. So I love working with professionals, and Oli is absolutely one of them, so I highly recommend that you work with him. Thank you.

Video transcript: I joined this program because while I've done a lot of courses for business marketing, acceleration of some kind, and I've been in business for 13 years full time and for quite a few years prior to that part time, it's been a really long time since I've been in a concentrated mastermind group that would last for an entire year. So I thought, now's the time. This sounds good. I was looking for a mentorship program. One of the first things that Ali had us do was submit a diagnostic and spend a lot of time with tons of questions. There were brief and short and simple descriptions or videos on each segment, but going over this and looking at them carefully was incredibly valuable. This diagnostic assessment, there were questions about marketing, there were questions about my brand, questions about actually making money, how have I done that, what's been successful, what hasn't, questions about actually what I do with my own money, how do I save for retirement and taxes, kind of to get that aspect of, you know, living a life with a business. Also addressed questions about products and who I've ever hired or what kind of team I have, which is none. I'm a sole proprietor. Questions about my mindset finally kind of most of all like my approach to business and what I think of it and that, that actually felt like this fundamental part. You know, I know myself pretty well and I can see where my sticky points are. But this was great to have them very, very clarified. Love the one on one session that we have after we do our assessment with Ollie to kind of see what the first steps would be towards movement. The action plan here. So so far, fantastic. Really wonderful group of people. Fantastic to see people's introductions online. I like that we have an easy place to go at this point in circle for, you know, just finding absolutely anything we need. And there's a ton of information with specific courses that have been given by Ollie or put together by Ollie where I can sort of start to follow step by step plan for my action plans ahead. I'm very excited, I have 11 months now to go. Very excited to see what the future of this year will bring and hone my goals in and just have an exciting time building a business.

Video transcript: Hi, my name is Philipp. I run an online education business for music producers. It's called Pick Yourself. And yeah, the reason I joined this program was to get from the lower six figure territory into the lower seven figure territory without driving myself crazy and without building. I call it like a golden prison for myself. I'm a father of two kids. I have a healthy marriage. I have some other hobbies that I want to just get the most out of in this wonderful time on earth. And so I was just thinking if. I mean, I love building businesses. I love this spirit, I love growing, I love. I even love the grind, obviously. But I don't want to be tied to all of that, and I don't want to make myself a slave to whatever I'm building. And so I was really looking for someone who could take me on my hand and then take me through this journey. Someone who's been there, who's done that, who's failed, who has all the experiences, who's then succeeded at the end, and who can share some lessons with me that I would otherwise pay for my own blood, sweat, and tears. And so actually, Olly was the perfect person to do this with because not only has he arrived at an eight figure territory, he also knows specifically the difference between building something that is optimized for a lifestyle or something that's optimized to be just a huge asset with a huge team and all of that overhead. So it's been. It's been a blessing to work with him so far. I'm really enjoying the group calls that we're having. I always have the feeling he's super present and really cares about you as someone who's inside. And I mean, that obviously matters as someone who's personally invested into seeing his students grow. And it's also like the no attitude that I get from him, which is something that I really appreciate. So it's not some guru mentality. It is something where someone just tries to genuinely be a good person in business, but overall in life. And that's the kind of people I want to surround myself with. And also that's the kind of people that you will find in the community or there are people that are way more successful than me, there are people that are below the level of success, however you want to define that. And yeah, I would say this is. This is specifically for you if you want to build something meaningful in a way that is aligned with your lifestyle, in a way that you. You don't constantly have to lie to yourself that what you're building, like, this is just a phase. It's just stressful right now, but one moment, I will just get there. I think this is for you if you can really be honest with yourself, if you have that level of self awareness, if you're open to actual coaching and making progress. And yeah, I'm sure that you will get great results if you implement the things that you discuss with Olly in the group in your assessments. And yeah, I can overall, really recommend it. So far, my experience has been really great. I've been into this a few months and, yeah, literally nothing I can complain about. Video transcript: I joined the program because I have an online education business and I want to grow and scale it in the best possible way. And what really attracted me to it was Olly's personal mentorship because he is somebody who's been there, done that, built the eight figure business, and is now ready to share all his knowledge and wisdom with us. So how has the program been? It has been a super positive experience and the diagnostic to start with was so eye opening. Then the strategy conversation, where our conversation went in a couple of different directions. Until then we honed in on what my personal aspirations really are as a business leader and that led to this different lens through which to look at things. And then all the way through to office hours, which are fantastic. You are never more than a couple of days or a few days away from being able to jump on a call or ask a question in the chat, even if you can't join the call and then listen to the recording afterwards. And you also learn so much. I learned so much from hearing other people's questions and hearing how Olly answers them. And then there's the forum where at any moment I can post a question and the rest of my peers and Olly are so generous to jump in and help me and we help each other. And I hadn't really reckoned on how, how helpful this peer group would be because I really joined for Olly. So it's kind of a bonus. And if I think about how it is helping my business already, it's really three areas. One is it's helping me focus on. So I am prone to getting distracted by shiny objects. And I was getting a lot of incoming inquiries from other service providers and spending time chasing down, oh, should I be doing this? Oh, that was a nice offer. And in just a couple of office hour Q&As, the light bulb finally went off for me in terms of all these answers to me. And now I realize that I really need to start from the strategic viewpoint and then what do I want as opposed to responding to all the incoming from everybody else. I was wasting a whole lot of energy. So focus is one thing. The second thing is I got some really great advice on some key decisions. There was something on pricing my products, there was something else on how do I want to play AI in my business and how do I not need to play AI and then also hiring choices. And then the third thing that's helped my business is being part of this program has just helped me feel much more calm and that's because I know that I've got Olly the mentor in my car in my corner. You know, Olly's there to make sure to support me and make sure I get answers to challenges that are coming up in real time and that I can make strategic move. So it's been really helpful so far. And if you are a fellow online education business owner who is got a six or seven figure business and you want to grow it, scale it in a really sane way, then this is a great program. And one other criterion because this is such a really kind and generous community, another criterion is you really don't want to join if you're a jerk.

Because I've learned the lessons and it kind of feels like that experience Olly's giving us the playbook on this is what you must do at this particular part in your journey. So really valuable. Always follow the person who's done exactly what you want to try and do because they're the ones who are going to actually be able to help you. And that is 100% true of Olly. As with most education or training or coaching, it's appropriate to expect from someone like Olly that he would hold up a mirror, that he will give you honest feedback, that he will also be a friend of philosopher and guide in many senses to be the mastermind, companion that you need in your journey. Right. So if, for example, if you're a business person, having Olly in your side means that you are definitely not alone. You have the benefit of someone deeply experienced who's going to counsel you, unblock you, and somet even validate that the complications, challenges you're facing are in fact par for the course and unavoidable in these contexts. And here's what you can do about it. So it's extremely useful because many of us entrepreneurship can be quite lonely, quite confusing, and it's unclear why we're not apparently getting the results other people are or our results look different. Has the market changed? Am I not doing this correctly? Is my copy not right? All these millions of questions that entrepreneurs grapple with. I think having someone like Olly on his side helps enormously. I think the kind of person who'd benefit most from working with Olly is someone who's willing to be self aware, take the feedback, probably asks more questions and expresses more opinions because I think if you're gonna be expressing your opinion all the time, you're not actually getting the benefit of learning from Olly's experience, which should trump all opinions in the room at that point of time, provided you're coming to him for the coaching. Right. So I think asking a lot of questions, Olly's tremendously responsive, takes a great deal of care to personally respond to people and assist them and is very generous with giving them access to resources that he believes is the right thing they need. But at the same time is very particular to ensure that people's attention is directed at the next best thing they should be allocating time and attention and energy to. And not just quandary the time and attention on things that don't really matter, which is really important because as entrepreneurs, it's very tempting to try and fragment and disperse our attention too far. So I think on the whole, that's the kind of person that, you know, would really benefit from working with Olly personally. It's been a wonderful experience. It's been wonderful to get to know him a little bit more personally as well, and also to see that there's really not much difference between the personal Olly and the public Olly, which is. Which. There's a lot of gurus who are providing information but nobody is hyper focused on what we do, which is online education. And throughout my business life, I've had many consultants, mentors, coaches helping me with the business. They were not really successful in, and instead we started to focus on a different type of product. And I only achieved this after realizing how to complement our value ladder as a result of all these changes, based on Olly's advice, I feel very good and calm about starting my maternity leave in a week and actually removing myself from my business, which I know is quite scary for business owners. But I feel good about it because I know that we have the right people on the team. We, you know, the right products and the right way to. To sell it. And of course it will be a progress. It will be something that will need to be developed all the time. But I. I really feel we have a very solid base now, and I. I just feel confident about the cash flow and about managing the team even without me being there in person. So I would say definitely listen to Olly and learn from him if you have a chance, because I've known Olly for several years and seriously, every single conversation I've had with him has enhanced me in many ways. Not just in business, but also about his take on life and work. Life balance.
