Video transcript: When we started, it was very hard to market to customers directly because there was a lot of. There was a lot of miscommunication on who was actually placing orders in the kitchen and how do we reach those people. So the sales reps were doing the predominance of the communication. They might text, they might call, they might email, but it was really hard for us to get a marketing database together. And so I think one of the things that we were most excited about is being able to put products in front of customers and communicate with them in a way that we could speak directly to them, and it didn't have to filter through the sales reps, as well as just being able to put products in front of our customers digitally, which we weren't able to do before at all.

Video transcript: We ran three digital ad campaigns for two week time periods each. Within those three campaigns, each time we saw about roughly 20 30% caselift. Our return on advertising spend averaged around six and a half to 8% each time and over the year, I can say our buyer reach we acquired roughly 300 new buyers over the course of the year, so.

Video transcript: I used to work for one of the big broadliners. So in order for them to change prices, sometimes it requires two or three phone calls for me. I can go in and make changes on the fly and say, all right, well, here's what I can do for you. It allows me to be more reactive quicker than the big guys.

Video transcript: We have seen about an 8.5% growth on our end in volume with Frosty Acres in this last year, and I do think a good deal of that can be contributed to Pepper just because we have engaged more with suppliers that we weren't necessarily slotted with previously. Whenever we do run an ad on the platform, we do see a larger increase than other times. When we check platform usage, we've ran four ads in the last probably five months and every time we have seen a significant increase. I don't have exact numbers, but a significant increase in engagement with our products and, you know, click through rates, all that kind of stuff with the ads.

Video transcript: To me, the corporate apps are a little confusing. There's a lot of stuff going on there, and I feel with the Seattle app, it's just very transparent. It doesn't take a lot of rigmarole to get you where you need to be. It's A to B to C very quickly, which, you know, in our industry, we don't have time to stand around and all the logging and stuff, and it's a very easy platform to use.

Video transcript: Got a real good understanding of what our competitors had. And when we looked at the Pepper app, we knew that we could take that customer to the next level. We had a four week rollout, 65, 70% of our customers already on the mobile app.

Video transcript: I was a customer of Seattle Fish years ago, and then when I joined here, in that interim, they had adopted Pepper, and I was like, man, I wish I had this when I was a customer. It was kind of like my first reaction. You know, we had a catalog and we had these great products, but we knew that we needed to keep up with some of our competition and how we presented that material to our customers. That's why I really pushed with Pepper, because it was like, there's so many capabilities on here that I know is going to be appealing to our customer, and there's so many quicker avenues of reaching them.

Video transcript: So it had this look, you know, it looks pro. It looks. We look elevated now. We add these campaigns and, you know, they open up the app and not only do they see this amazing looking app, they see these ad campaigns. And that just really continues to enhance that legitimacy that we now bring to the table. How we get there. One of the things we talked about before is how we used to get there was, let me hand you a flyer. So let me put it maybe, right? Maybe put it on an ad on your website to. Now when you go open up and want to place your order for the afternoon, you're seeing an ad. We're reaching the customer in the best way possible.

Video transcript: We're doing online ordering with some of the GPOs out there, like Birchtreet Craftable. And, you know, in the old days, before we had the punch out capability for a customer to order from Mr. Green's, they had to place their order with Mr. Greens on the app. And then if they're a Birch street customer, for an example, they'd have to then put the order into Birch Street. What we love now is they log in through Birch street and basically they log into our app and then once they place their order on the app, it sends the order into Bird street so they don't have to do duplicate entry. And we've noticed a 23% increase in line items purchased by allowing them onto our app. So we're thrilled with that.

Video transcript: So with the Rich's products, we were able to meet with them ahead of the campaign, and they were able to see our portfolio and the items we stocked, and they showed us some new items that we thought would be a great fit for our customer base. So we decided to bring those on and launch them as part of the campaign. And so far, it's been pretty successful.

Video transcript: This is a game changer for food service because of the fact that there's not anything out there like, that that has the detail and has all of the things as far as, like, tracking invoices and helping out, like, now. I mean, it's. It's gone above and beyond what I thought it would ever be able to do with, like, pinpointing restaurants within a certain radius, and then you can go right to their menu and, you know, those kind of things that are just constantly being updated through Pepper. But that first time that I heard about it, I knew that my company had to be involved in it because it was revolutionary.

Video transcript: We have six different operating companies, three in Florida, Miami, Plant City and Jacksonville. And we're in Austin and San Antonio, Texas and we just opened Dallas last week. You know when usually you get software or apps out of the box, you know you have to conform your business to the app. The great thing about PEPR was we were able to talk about our business needs and Pepper was able to implement the things that we needed as we went live. So really Pepper was phenomenal in the respect that it wasn't an out of the box software. It was something that we were able to customize to fit our needs. We're doing Track My Truck. We now have signed invoices on the app. We're utilizing the promo feature. We're excited about some of the AI features that are coming up. Our customers love the app. I've actually had customers tell me that our app is better than some of the broadline apps out there.
