• Dec was my most profitable month of 2022 • My next 5 week block of classes are packed. • Had 1.5 weeks off teaching which was much needed, feeling pumped for 2023!
I have been slack on slack because I've been busy welcoming all my new clients! I've had 7 already this month in my home studio! I attribute it to the wisdom ice gained being in this group, so thank you all!

I agree! Sometimes we aren't totally ready for the info we get here but we know where to find it if we need it. I took another course a few months ago and the information was amazing but the support wasn't there the way I'm used to with Agency.

We hit 100 members for our group fitness clasess, FIRST TIME EVER! Our sales are the highest they've ever been this last month & attendance is also up! Got to take another Mat Pilates class today after teaching & i'm taking the win on the fact that i've done it for 2 weeks straight
@xx-LL my husband and I even dressed up in costumers as we gave out candy. And yes, I couldn't believe how much I got accomplished in October and I huge part of that was because I joined Agency.
I recommend using this channel. @Roxy has been a great help to me these last few months with website and flyer copy. Invaluable to have this opportunity for feedback, especially as a solo business owner.

Good morning Agency! I am here to celebrate my WINS for August. I had HUGE GOALS for August, and I did them all. I am so grateful from the support I received from everyone in Agency. Without ALL of you in here I just wouldn't have had the courage to even attempt any of my goals, let alone do them all and complete them
Lesley and Brad's energy is so motivating and infectious, they are very clear on what they do and I definitely got a lot of clarity around my ideal client, how to price (not discount) and making sure messaging is right (are you speaking to the problem/needs of your ideal client). Highly recommend for new instructors and/or studio owners.
Agency helped me to push forward. Looking back I was just trying to get online classes going through covid. I get bored quickly so think pre- Agency I used to fill my personal life with lots of changes and new commitments instead. Now, I have so many new ideas I don't think I ever would've believed I could pull off without Agency!
I'm defo having a few light bulb moments where I think, "Lesley and Brad would say xx in this situation" and feel like I almost know what I'm talking about sometimes!!! Particularly when people are imparting their advice, I am thinking "I already know this/am doing this" or "no, that won't work for xx reasons"...all learnt here in Agency!!! Love it!
Am finally getting clients accounts up to date with the new software program. Had a referral from 2 healthcare practitioners who want me to work with one of their clients. Started a new program funded by the provincial government for women entrepreneurs. Lots of affirming information that I am all ready doing, in part because of Agency. Got all my flower pots filled!!

So managed to pull the day together a bit and did a couple of things to move forward. So grateful for this group and the support

It's Friday and I am celebrating. I had 4 requests this week from potential new clients and they all signed up buying 5 classes and 10 classes. And I am soooo happy about the feedback I received. And I managed to get the first changes done on the website. I am one of the newbies in Agency. Just joined end of February and I am so happy I did - best decision! Just what I needed. I am feeling grateful today because I was reflecting on how I never imagined being able to own a business and take guilt free time off! Because of the amazing advice from @xx-LL and Agency ... I took four weeks off this past year- exactly what took 14 years at hospital district to obtain. Soooo thankful investing in myself and business this year!
FYF is for my first photo shoot. • I am an IC but the studio owner set up the shoot for us, and we didn't pay a dime (such a win). • Based on the info from everyone in Agency and the studio owners advice, I was the only person prepared for this. I had outfit changes, hair & makeup, I brought real bodies in with a list of exercises for teaching shots, and I had a list for my personal exercise shots. • I received the photos and there are so many that I just adore.
Being part of the Agency totally transformed my way to do business and has helped me growth like I wouldn't imagine. From a home based Pilates studio owner I can say my business is as strong as the one in the commercial space! Thanks @profitablepilates @lesley.logan
Changed a mat class to semi-private due to low sign ups. Decided to charge same per person rate whether it's duet or trio as per LL's advice (I think from last group call or somewhere else - can't remember ha) and the 3 clients that tend to come didn't bat an eye. They're excited to still have a session at that time and about the variety of apparatus they'll get to work on. And I'm making over my magic number. Win! Now need to strategize on how to have more of these.

I have really changed how I look at my business and how I show up for myself. I do still have a little wobble at times. Especially now when it's quiet. I just remind myself I have over worked for so many months now and to enjoy it.
I am holding you all in my minds eye. Because today you guys are my win! I am in the second month of my new home studio and the quiet times are hard. I have to push myself out to get posters and flyers out (introvert :blush:), reaching out to health practitioners, refining my words for my ideal client. And I know there are some of you who have walked this path before me and some who are walking it now and I am so grateful to know you are here. First virtual mat class was a success! I used google duo since it is a small group. I loved that the video kept us all a little more honest with how we actually moved. They were all also really happy to have the connection as some have been socially distancing for over a week already. Thanks for the encouragement @xx-LL and all other group members doing this! I 100% would not have tried this as an option before Agency.
YF! I'm a couple hours early for my post but I'm off on Friday and planning a relaxing day away from my phone. Sooo. I was just reflecting on my last week and how 8 days ago I had no idea on really anything to do with having or building a website. Because of Agency and all the info available here, all the posts others make and I get to follow, I was able to get myself in the right direction to get my lil website started. @xx-LL
1. New client to my group mat classes 2. My new reformer clients stayed on as 1 said, I'm learning so much from you! 3. Finally have my bank account up to what it was last summer, it makes me more comfortable 4. Signed up for the 3 month of writing class with Roxy, I'm excited to get some more newsletter ideas and fine tune my writing. 5. Made dinner dates with friends I haven't seen in a while. 6. Happy Weekend all! 7. Being a part of this group has been what I needed for the past 3 years, wish I joined sooner, but-thank you!!
Today's wins were managing to listen to the end of Brad's evergreen webinar and getting ideas for the future, and having one of my male clients come in without his wife because he's more addicted to my pilates classes than she is though she's the reason he came in initially. Another win is that i have noticed that I feel so much more relaxed about business/life since being in Agency because it keeps me moving forward consistently to see everyone else moving forward and to feel part of a community that understands my woes so fully.
I have definitely done more personal Pilates practice since joining agency and my body is feeling good for it. I've even been challenging myself to get back to some more advanced exercises I haven't done for a while. I'm also squeezing in a workout before/after my clients when you I think I've got 15 mins, I could get a basic reformer workout in Oh and 'plank you' to @Mindi – I enjoyed do your mat class for OPC this week, some fun ideas/variations I'll explore with my classes
Experiencing Agency was a fantastic experience this past year! The one-one coaching calls; the ability to reach out via Slack 24/7 to vent, celebrate or ask for advice; the webinars; and all the other modes of communication really made for a good year as a studio owner. I gained some confidence, moved forward on things I was procrastinating on, and reminded me that there are so many others in similar situations and I was not alone. While I need to step back for now, I can absolutely see me returning in the future. Thank you all for everything you do for the Pilates world, Theresa
I presented a workshop to other teachers from a studio I used to teach at and I felt it went really well! They had such great questions and I could tell some of the things I said really opened their eyes to new ideas. At the end, my former boss came to me and said she wanted to take private sessions from me!!! She's already bought a 5 pack and scheduled the first 2 sessions. I feel really honored that she feels she can learn from me, as I've learned so much from her. Also, I deep cleaned my studio today (which I love to do) and it's absolutely sparkling and ready for tomorrow's photoshoot!
