See the results runners are getting with Reforge Running!
New half marathon PB of 1:26:52. Felt strong and Achilles holding up very well.
Thank you for giving me my legs back. I can run how I want, and that is such a gift.
After almost 3 years of Achilles issues, I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
So much PT is geared towards older, inactive people. Love that your program is geared towards the athlete.
Biggest win — skipping down the road with my daughter with zero pain and feeling like I have some spring back.
Finished Marine Corps Marathon today — no sign of any Achilles tendon activity. Feels like I completely recovered.
I have dealt with Achilles tendonitis for 10 years. I’ve seen multiple PTs, have done countless hours of exercises, and have used every product imaginable. None of that worked. After working with Grady for 3 months my Achilles pain is completely gone! I’m able to run 70 miles a week with no pain. I recommend him to anyone dealing with Achilles issues.
I was so happy I found Grady! I'm an ultrarunner who has be dealing with achilles issues for years and ran into a flare up this spring (literally!) that set me back quite a bit. I knew based on my past experience with rehab that I needed a PT who could be available for check-ins multiple times a week to provide guidance on when to run, when to rest, and when to proceed with rehab exercises. Grady provided the support I needed and was always responsive to my questions. On top of that, he follows the latest and greatest in tendon rehab techniques and progressed my exercises safely, pulling back when things were flared up. Grady also uses a very handy app that makes completing exercises easy and tracking progress abreeze. Thanks to Grady I've been able to overcome this flare and get back to activities I love. I truly cannot recommend Grady enough for achilles rehab for runners!
For 6 years, chronic Achilles tendonosis on both sides prevented me from running at all. I tried everything from traditional physical therapy to dry needling and acoustic shockwave therapy. I had evaluations from PTs, orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine doctors, even MRIs. Nothing made any appreciable change in my long-term pain, and none of that traditional treatment got me back to running. Enter Grady Congleton's Reforge Running program. Of course, I was skeptical. How could some guy on Instagram solve a problem that stumped every doctor I had seen for years? And how could that happen in 12 weeks? Then I realized that Grady is not just "some guy". He has focused only on Achilles injuries for over a decade. So I fully bought in. And low and behold, before the 12 week program was over, my Achilles were pain free! I couldn't believe the results. He didn't have any magic solution. It turns out organized, consistent strength and mobility training is what I needed. What sets Grady's program apart from the traditional PT I had at Kaiser Permanente is the variety of exercises, the intelligent progression of intensity, and the logical explanation of each exercise's purpose. Finally, we come to the topic of motivation. For whatever reason, traditional physical therapy can be difficult to motivate, so consistency often lags. Not so with the Reforge Running program! His positive, affirming attitude really motivated me to complete every workout fully. He checked in often, which kept me honest. So if you are struggling with Achilles pain, message him ASAP!
