I am just coming to the end of my second year in business, and have recently been feeling uninspired and overwhelmed. “Scattered and Unsure to Firm-Footing Winning Big Contracts" Before working together, I was feeling good, but scattered and unsure of how my offerings linked together. I found it difficult to articulate what I did to others. After a year of freelancing, I needed some help to join together what I was offering. Working with Susanna has been inspiring and exciting. I kicked off today with an epic call with Susanna Reay where she guided me through creating one of her Sparkle Frameworks. I'd started doing the work in my notebook but today was a meeting of her Business Booster group and they're all about practical action, which is just what I like! I wanted to create a visual image which would enable people to self-select where they are when it comes to clarity and visibility in their business. These are the two main areas I work with people on. I ran through who I was talking to and what their world looked like. We talked it over and I was able to fill in Susanna's template on the call. Then she got me to rehearse how I would talk about it to an audience who didn't know me. Sparkle Frameworks aren't just images, they are designed to be shared and talked about, new elements are revealed as you go through. You need to bring stories into them and this is what elevates them as a way to communicate concepts quickly and easily with your audience. Then as I was putting the finishing touches together, Susanna shared some tips about colour theory. Unbeknown to me, the colours I had chosen for my branding reflect communication, inner reflection, and confidence. I had unintentionally colour-coded my business. Now I can intentionally use those colours in my marketing materials - bonus! My next step is to record a video sharing my framework, which I'll do later in the week.
