Video transcript: Started working with Toms after, I guess was sort of looking for a bit of a change in my training. I've sort of done a lot of strength and conditioning over the years, but probably predominantly based on training for Aussie Rules football and that sort of era or aspect of my life sort of finishing up now. So I was looking at changing things up and met Toms in Bali and it just sort of intrigued me seeing the way he trained and the way he was able to move. So it's been super interesting working with. With Toms. His attention to detail is pretty awesome. We sort of. Every week he goes through my training videos and just picks. Picks up little critiques. Every week I feel like I'm learning new things and adapting to the way that I guess, and it's sort of teaching me as well as he critiques me to. To work out, I guess, the different exercises we're doing, what I'm meant to be achieving out of it. Yeah, it's been really good. Just sort of saw some massive improvements. Well, in my. In my hip mobility with a few movements. Hadn't really. Hadn't really done before. Cosex, squats and seated good mornings and things like that. Yeah, the improvement's been pretty awesome, actually. So, yeah, they've really been enjoying it, actually, and just looking forward to seeing the changes in my body and how I move in the next six, eight months. So. Cheers, Toms.

Jonny Mitchell

Video transcript: Hey, guys. So my name is Jonny Mitchell and I was working with Toms for a period of time to help with a shoulder injury, which I had go into. Yeah, that's about that shoulder injury I've had for, like, about probably about 10 years originally. I got it from just working out a little bit too hard when I was a lot younger and lifting more than I should have. So I have quite wide shoulders and when I used to bench press, my grip would be quite wide and I think I took a lot of the strain into my shoulders rather than my chest. And I started getting a lot of issues just with, like, pinching motion. Certain movements were, like, causing, like, a lot of. A lot of pain. And I stopped being able to do, like, flat bench press and I had to always be at, like, a certain angle. And, yeah, it was. As I've got into my 30s, it's causing more issues, like hurts if I sleep on it, I wake up in the middle of night, it's like aching. So, yeah, that was an issue, as you can imagine. What I've tried before is in the uk, I did something called shock wave therapy, I think, and I think that's what it was called. It was basically someone had like a. Like a little tube of a ball bearing inside and it was tied up to, like, a hydraulic whatever, and it would basically knock the ball back and forth in the cylinder to create like a. And by damaging the muscle, it was supposed to actually repair it. And that did help briefly, but it didn't help the problem in the long run. As soon as I stopped doing it, within a couple of months, it was sort of back to normal. So, yeah, because of these issues, I reached out to Tom's, seen that he trained some people that I knew, and that's kind of how we worked together to kind of give me some exercises and some things that I could do to relieve the pressure in this shoulder and to get it back on track to repairing itself. After training with Tom for a relatively short period of time as well, just before I took a trip at Christmas, it does feel a ton better. And I think that's mainly due to the fact that I now know which stretches to do and which ones not to do. I was doing, like, very basic kind of, you know, textbook stretches. He gave me some pretty, I guess, unusual stretches to do for my shoulder before and after workouts and every morning as well. And my shoulder feels a lot better because of it. When I train, there's still some, you know, if I get the wrong movement, it might give me a little bit of pain but the most important thing for me is that waking up in the morning I no longer have like this frozen shoulder. It's actually, you know, flexible and loose and overall it's yeah it's not giving me any pressure or any trouble in the mornings. Yeah So I think the biggest improvement is just the fact that I have like more normal day to day movement and flexibility. Like I even even like scrubbing my back in the shower would give me problems before and now that everyday movement is yeah it's just pretty much back to normal and the only time that I really get problems from it is when I'm working out and that's probably due to the fact that I'm still being a bit lazy with my posture and my movements but overall extremely good experience with Tom's great guy and great trainer and yeah I'll be working with him again once I fuck my shoulder up again which I'm sure won't be too long so cheers tomorrow.

Jenna Switzer
Sex Coach
Video transcript: Working with TOMS really fast tracked my fitness goals. I've been working with TOMS for about three months. My name is Jenna and I'm 38 years old. I used to teach yoga full time and working out was basically my full time job. And over the last few years transitioning into a different style of work. I've really been missing that motivation to stay mobile, to stay active. And I've noticed myself getting weaker and, and ranges of motion that used to be really accessible to me became frustratingly out of range. So I was trying to motivate myself on my own for years and I was getting nowhere. And even if I did go to the gym consistently or I was on my mat more consistently, I wasn't getting the results that I was looking for. You really get tired of your own shit at some point. You get tired of telling yourself you're going to do this, telling things you're yourself, things are going to change and then them not actually changing. So about three months ago I messaged TOMS and I was like, I just need things to change. I need to have someone hold me accountable. I need someone with more knowledge and more awareness of the human body that can help guide me in practices and movement that I feel are well designed. It was really important to me to work with somebody who I trusted to know about the body. I wanted to maintain my range of motion, increase my range of motion, but really increase my strength. That was really, really important to me. For context, at the start of the program, I was on the literal other side of the world from Toms and he still made it smooth, easy and effective. I loved it. I was excited to go to the gym. The workouts were consistent but still interesting, so I didn't get bored. I watched my range of motion improve so quickly as well as my strength. I, I was making my way towards goals that I had been struggling with for years. Working with Toms was a huge game changer. The feedback he gave was incredible, super, super helpful. The calls we did were supportive. I felt like it was a very holistic approach and really got me to what I was hoping to achieve so much faster than I ever would have done it on my own. I'm so grateful to have worked with him and I look forward to all the fun things that are coming as we continue to progress in our work together.

Video transcript: When I first started this program with Coach Toms, I was looking for a new approach to move my body. I felt like I had been plateauing in my own gym routine. I really enjoy weightlifting and strength training, but I just felt like there was something missing. Coming across Coach Tom's profile, I was immediately intrigued and impressed. I wanted to train like him. Just seeing the way that he moves and his strength and his flexibility, I decided I wanted to be like that as well. To be strong, to be mobile and flexible. After working this program for a few months, I totally expected to see results in the gym. But I didn't realize that these physical benefits were were also going to serve me outside of the gym and in my home and work life. I've been a licensed cosmetologist for over 10 years, and that profession can be really hard on the body. I've noticed significant change for the better. I can stand longer. My hands don't hurt as much. My knees don't hurt. My hips feel good. Coach Tums encourages you to set realistic goals for yourself. And not only does he tailor his program specific to those goals, but also to your individual needs. If you have an injury, he'll help you strengthen and heal it and train it. Prioritizing this mobility and strength program for me really just translates to healthier living. It's enabling longevity in my career and giving me abundant energy and confidence. And if you're wanting to level up for yourself, I implore you to do the same. It's been a game changer, so thank you, Coach Toms. Sam.

I’ve been doing CrossFit for almost 2 years now. In the beginning, I started getting pain in my shoulder and I ended up tearing my rotator cuff about a year into the sport. Since then I’ve had excessive shoulder pain when performing certain exercises that show up daily in my programming. I noticed Toms while he was doing his own training. His mobility and range of movement are incredible and I eventually approached him to ask him for advice. When I started working Toms, he did some tests on me, and it turned out that my internal rotation was extremely limited on the side of my previously injured shoulder. He gave me a couple of exercises to help me stretch out and gain strength where I had my weaknesses. He explained to me that because I didn’t have the range of movement in my shoulder, my body was overcompensating and I was completely unbalanced. Toms is so thorough in assessing the situation and finding a solution to help with the problem. The movements causing me the most pain were muscle ups and snatching. Whenever I performed these exercises, I almost always felt pain during and especially after my training! Only a couple months after working with Toms and doing my exercises every other day, my pain has significantly reduced, if not completely disappeared. I can feel that my shoulder health has gone above and beyond what it was, and I can’t thank you enough, Toms, for helping me. Training and moving my body is the thing I live for, it really is what brings me the most happiness. Not only have you helped me be able to train without pain but you’ve helped me realize how important and crucial recovery and mobility really are. Thank you a million!

Anca Staruiala
Fashion Stylist
Video transcript: Hi, I'm Anka, and I think I started working with Toms back in February, in January, I was on this holiday in Bali, and one day I went to this gym and I saw Toms in the gym and the way he was training, and I was just amazed about the techniques that he was doing and exercise, because until then, I never saw, like, mobility training, strength training. I was used to do trainings only with the weights. So I texted him back then and asked him if he wants to do some session with me. We did like three trainings. Then I got back home in Romania and started to think, okay, this is like a whole new chapter for me. I don't know how to listen to my body. I don't know how to be in control in my body. I know how to respect my body. And I texted Thompson. I said to him, okay, I need to work with you, because I feel that you could learn me a lot of things and also listen to my body and be in control with my body. So here we are now, like five months, I think we have trainings, and I'm so pleased and amazed about the results that I'm seeing in my body. And I'm so happy because he always give me, like, the. The exercise that I need for my body. I know sometimes I have lower back pain and he just adapt, adapts the. The trainings that I have to do and exercise. I've noticed that I have. I've developed, like, a really good mobility, and I didn't know that I have this also. Strength improved so much, and also the posture of my body. And I think I. I always say to my friends, if you start working with thumbs, it's not. Not just the training and that's it. It's like a way of living. Because I've learned how to be so disciplined and learn how to eat, to have three meals, learn how to sleep proper, learn how to respect my body and take care of. Take care of my body. I didn't know how to until th. I didn't know how to work and go. To have a training and not like, give 100% if I was not in the mood. And he told me, and he learned me that it's okay to give one day 60% and not 100 because you're human. You need to listen to your body. And I didn't know how to do this until start training with him. Also, I like. I think my favorite exercise are the one that you need to be in control with your mind and also with your body, because I have this tendency to be like an overthinker. And sometimes when I'm trained, my mind goes wild. And when I have this kind of exercise, it's like a really good mind training. I think I can say because of the way you need to be in control and be focused also on breathing. So, yeah, I think it's, it's a way of living and I think for me it's like a new chapter and I'm so pleased about the results of my body that has and the way I started to look. And I think it's really important to be aware if you're, you're going to start this journey. It's not about just the way of looking good. It's about first, it's about being healthy and to be in control with your mind and with your body. And I think Tams is the perfect teacher, maybe I could say mentor because you don't learn only how to move and I don't know, train you learn how to love yourself and be and have respect for yourself. And I think I would recommend 100%. I'm so pleased about the results and I'm so excited to see like the, what will happen in the future and if I, if I go to the point where I want to go now in my mind because I want to push the boundaries and see what is going to happen. So, yeah, thank you so much times. I really appreciate it that I met you. Bye.

Before I started training with Toms, I was stiff and wasn’t seeing any results from the mobility work I was doing on my own. I come from a martial arts background but have always struggled with stiffness, and nothing seemed to make a real difference. That changed when I attended one of Toms mobility classes. I felt an immediate improvement in how I moved afterwards, and that experience is what made me reach out for coaching. Since we started working together, I’ve become much more mobile and strong, especially in end-range positions. I can now move in ways that used to feel completely out of reach, like Cossack squats, Jefferson curls, deep back squats, sumo squats, and more. What truly sets Toms apart is how much he listens and genuinely cares. He always checks in, asks how the training feels, and adjusts the plan not only based on performance, but also on what’s going on in life outside the gym, like work, travel, stress levels, and more. He tailors the program and gradually increases the difficulty each week based on my progress. He even created a separate training schedule when I was traveling on a boat without access to a gym, so I could stay consistent wherever I was. Today, I feel more mobile, stronger, and more graceful in how I move. I’m completely pain-free, and I can now challenge myself in new ranges without worrying about getting hurt. Working with Toms has taught me how to plan my workouts and focus on the things that actually matter for long-term results. It has truly changed how I train and how I feel in my body.

Video transcript: Hello, my name is Sadri. I'm from Spain. Personally. I met Tom in Uluwatu in Bamboo Fitness. When I went there to train, I saw him doing a specific training, and I love the way he moves. And I asked him for doing a personal training because in that moment, I had a lot of limitation in my hips and some pain in my hamstring. And I'm so grateful nowadays because in our first session, we can improve a lot. But the most important thing for me is that he give me that knowledge, that progression, and that exercises to do by myself next weeks. And I'm feeling so much better nowadays. And I recommend every person who wants to improve and have more awareness about how to move better to contact Toms because he's a professional and also he's a nice person.

Working with Toms over the past months has been a great experience. I joined Toms 1-on-1 option due to my dynamic lifestyle and desire for personalized feedback. As someone balancing life as an artist and entrepreneur, I initially had concerns about the remote nature of the partnership - especially around the depth of support and personalization I'd receive. Yet, Toms did a phenomenal job. He was consistently reliable, responsive, and genuinely caring. Whether it's timely voice messages via WhatsApp or screen-recorded video feedback via Loom, his communication is always clear and encouraging. The use of technology — apps, form reviews, and personalized video analysis — has made our remote collaboration not only effective but surprisingly precise. What stands out most is the quality of feedback. Toms has an eye for subtle details, which he delivers well. Consequently, I have seen results in both mobility and functional strength. I've experienced improvements in my shoulders and hips, which has directly enhanced my sense of freedom in my body — all without pushing my system into overload. Toms' approach, from my current perspective, feels sustainable and intelligent. I feel genuinely supported and five stars feel truly justified. Thank you Toms and best wishes, Arian

I came to Toms with years of stiffness, pain, and mobility issues from powerlifting and boxing. I could barely touch my toes, and every morning felt like I got hit by a truck—tight, sore, and barely moving. Since training with him twice a week for six months, I’ve made insane progress. I wake up without pain, I move freely, and my performance in the gym and ring has levelled up massively. Flexibility is back, recovery’s better, and I feel human again. I used to ignore mobility. Now I treat it like gold. Working with Toms was one of the smartest things I’ve done for my body and performance
Video transcript: Hey, what's up, guys? My name is Andres. If you guys are thinking about working with tons, I cannot recommend it enough. I think working with him was, like, definitely one of the biggest, like, positive changes that I made for my. For myself. I am. I've always been into powerlifting and boxing and just any sort of contact sports as overall, but I've never been really good about, like, taking care of myself as far as, like, recovery and stretching and working on mobility. So over years and years and years of. Of just training really, really hard, I. My body just got really tight. And then over the last, like, I want to say year, it would hurt even to, like, get out of bed in the morning. My. My body would just feel really tight. I have never been able to, like, even touch my toes whenever I, like, go down to the ground and everything. So I found Tom's at bamboo, and I told him, like, all the things that I've been struggling with, and we've been. We worked together for a little bit over six months, and I worked with him twice a week, and it was probably the best thing that I've ever done. Within a couple weeks, I started seeing, like, a lot of changes in my flexibility and a lot of changes in, like, my overall recovery. I started. I started feeling stronger, and I started feeling, like, better. Like, every morning wasn't a pain. It was. It wasn't painful to get out of bed. Like, I would totally just wake up, roll out of bed, and then be totally fine. My strength, my endurance started getting better and everything overall. So I think working with him was probably one of the best things that I did on that end. Definitely lesson learned as far as, like, never let. Let that part of training go, like, go away anymore. Like, working on my mobility and strength and recovery has been, like, one of my biggest, like, main points, like, moving forward. I wish I'd still be training with him if I was still in Bali with him, but, yeah, I cannot recommend it enough, guys.

Before i was working with Tom, I felt a lot of stifness in my body and i had some back pain from sitting at work. Since i've been training with Tom, he helped me understand my weaknesses and teached me how to open my body avoiding injuries and i can see big improvements after 12 weeks. Sometimes the exercises feels counterintuitive in the way you twist your body but you quickly understand the reasons behind them as soon as you trust tom's process and it feels amazing.

So yeah, I highly recommend his, his ways of training. So I highly recommend to, to give it a try and see for yourself. Thank you.

Before working with Toms , I felt disconnected from my body, stiff in my movements, and frustrated by how limited my range of motion had become no matter how much I stretched. I’ve worked with a few coaches before, but what made Toms stand out is his ability to meet you exactly where you are physically and mentally. He doesn’t just throw a bunch of generic stretches at you and hope for the best. Every session felt intentional, tailored, and grounded in actual progress. He always did his due diligence to follow up with me and regular check ins which I appreciated!

Development
Video transcript: Hello. So, yeah, the reason for me why I wanted to start training with Tom was I had many years ago, like, by now it's 14, 15 years ago, I had a femur head necrosis, meaning there was no blood circulation in my left femur head and my hip. So slowly, slowly, the bone died. And after 13 years, it got so bad that I had to get a replacement. So after the surgery, I was looking for ways to regain my strength and regain my flexibility and range of movement and being able to properly serve again, where it's obviously quite important to have very range of movement in the hips. So I started training with Tom and it was actually quite challenging in the beginning. There was, yeah, just as you can imagine, after full hip replacement, or actually I did the resurfacing called macmin hip. But anyway, even though that's a really good hip, it was very difficult to get proper movement back and the training with Tom was absolutely incredible. Absolute game changer. I went from barely being able to do much at all to almost, yeah, I'm much, much better if I go to yoga classes or Pilates classes, I'm. I'm one of the most flexible guys now. It's absolutely amazing surfing. I can actually have the mobility to move into a barrel again. I can go really low on my board. So, yeah, for me it's been incredible. It's. I tried many, many things before and before the surgery, I tried many things to, to now have the surgery and nothing really worked and so extremely happy with the results. Can I can recommend Tom to anybody who needs to regain strength and flexibility and yeah, he's going to be your guy, he's going to help you out.

I started training with Toms back in September, 2021. Toms has made the entire process interesting, enjoyable and effective. I’m always learning from him and his super training wisdom. I was nervous stepping into the gym at first (it had been a whiiiile haha) but, Toms was very welcoming, non judgemental and super friendly. Makes the whole process a lot easier when you know you’re in good, kind hands. Toms also has this skill of motivating you, pushing you when you need to be pushed, all In order to be able to progress. His enthusiasm is brill and expect his, ‘let’s go’ to stay in your head whenever you’re training (in a good way!). Would 100% recommend Toms and often telling others how great he is and his PT skills. I’ve lost weight, toning up and feeling physically better than I have done in a very long time. Thanks Toms!

I trained with Toms for 2 months over summer, and as someone quite inexperienced I found his guidance and feedback incredibly helpful. I could feel the difference physically and mentally and was always looking forward to our session as working out with him felt more productive. This is the first time I have decided to commit to a gym routine, and Toms has been the compass in this journey, pointing me to the right direction and best exercises for the results I want to achieve. He's very knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition, and he is always a text away whenever you need his advice. He's your man :P

Video transcript: Hey, four months in now since I started working with Toms and can highly recommend doing that. So I met him in Bali. We worked out in Bali a couple of times and then we switched to online via app. Uses a special app and adjusts my workout plan every week and gives feedback, comments. I'm recording videos. He's giving feedback on the videos. Super helpful. It's great to stick with the plan. I don't need to think about what I'm doing in the gym. And I've been working out pretty much all my life and felt like it's pretty unaffective because I was lacking the possibility that my body. The possibilities that my body are capable of. And with Toms, I discovered there's much more range of movement there. You can even load mobility exercises. You can even include more mobility exercises and also adjust exercises so that they become more of a mobility focus. And I really enjoy that. I really feel it's a holistic approach. Loads of wisdom and loads of creativity. Loads of playfulness. So it's. If that's what you're after, then I think Coach Thomas is the. The right one to talk to about. Really happy with the results. Also feel way better. Feel my body way better, more flexible. I'm stronger, I'm getting more lean, and yeah, I'm really, really enjoying that. And workouts don't really feel like workouts. They feel more like guided play. And that's what I'm really happy for. So, Coach Thomas, thank you so much for your support, for your efforts and for your knowledge and your orientation. Let's keep it going.

But, he doesn’t stop there; Toms has given me the food knowledge which has enabled me to eat well whilst losing weight. Having spent a lot of time at the gym years ago, I’ve sporadically looked after my fitness since becoming a mum usually as part of a group bootcamp. What I struggled with was it being just that - for the group. Having only one hand meant that some sessions were a waste. With Toms everything is completely tailored, which you would expect from a personal trainer but he goes further than that. He makes sure that whilst there will be exercises where I push myself on one side it isn’t to the detriment of the other - he balances the workout in really inventive ways to keep my arm strength equal. Not once have I had to say ‘I can’t do that’ which is incredibly liberating. The sessions are always varied and Toms is a great motivator to getting you to do things you maybe thought you couldn’t. I’d definitely recommend Toms!

I've been training with Toms for just under a year, and he has completely transformed the way I look at working out. I have struggled with depression for a while, and Toms has been such a positive influence in helping me use exercise to lift myself up. He really took the time to get to know me and tailor a plan to my specific goals, and I've never felt fitter, stronger or more confident in my abilities. His consistently positive attitude makes a session with him so supportive, and he always knows just the right amount to push me. Also, I recently broke both of my arms in a cycling accident, and he was able to come up with creative ways to keep me moving while my arms recovered. Thank you Toms!

Toms is completely amazing. He is incredibly passionate about health and fitness , way beyond what happens in the gym. His motivation has helped me with prioritising exercise, healthy eating and healthy habits like sleeping well into my busy work and family life. His enthusiasm is truly inspirational . He's also a really nice guy who genuinely wants you to succeed in your goals.

Toms is a total dude, really encouraging and full of advice. I’ve been training with him for about six months and I’ve never been stronger in my life.

I thoroughly enjoy my training sessions with Toms. Every session is different, challenging and he pushes me harder every time.

8 weeks in, feeling stronger. Not miraculous changes, but steady improvement. The lifting mechanics reduced strain significantly. Still sore after 12-hour shifts (who wouldn't be?), but recovering by next shift instead of accumulating pain. Shared with a few colleagues who are interested.

Can do longer design sessions now - maybe 3-4 hours straight instead of needing breaks every hour. The desk exercises are simple and actually help. Still get sore, but it doesn't last into the next day like before. Taking on a few more projects, which is nice for income.

Doctors said 'it's age.' You said 'it's fixable.' You were right. Carried my granddaughter on my shoulders at the zoo yesterday. TWO MILES. She said 'Grandma strong!' Yes, baby, yes I am. My daughter cries every time she sees me playing on the floor with kids. Good tears. The senior modifications weren't dumbed down - they were smartly adapted. Told my entire retirement community. You're about to get 30 new customers from Sunset Acres alone lol Thank you so much.

Spent £2K on ergonomic everything. Still hurt. Your 'movement snacks' concept? Revolutionary. Every 30 minutes, 30 seconds of movement. Productivity tracking improvement. Not because of a fancy chair - because I'm not distracted by pain. Boss asked what had changed. Sent him your link.

Standing 9 hours in retail destroyed my lower back. I had a secret heating pad behind the register and took bathroom breaks just to stretch. The quick exercises I can do WHILE WORKING are game-changers. My team asked if I got Botox because I stopped making that pain face. Nope, just finally fixed my back!

Finally Keeping Up with My Toddlers

Carrying car seats used to leave me crying in parking lots. I'd dread grocery runs because lifting my 2-year-old into the cart was agony. Now? I'm that mom at the park doing races and piggyback rides. The breathing technique during flare-ups is genius. Wish I'd found this after my first pregnancy, not my third!

Saved my career at 47

Doc said I needed surgery or find a new job. 25 years in construction, and suddenly I couldn't tie my boots without sitting down. Found this program out of desperation. The morning routine alone changed everything - 7 minutes, and I'm moving like I'm 30 again. My crew can't believe it. Neither can my wife - if you know what I mean.

From 10 hour desk days to pain free living

I thought chronic back pain was just part of having a desk job. I was popping 6 Advil a day and couldn't play with my kids. This program showed me it wasn't about expensive chairs or massages - it was about 5-minute movement patterns. Week 3, I canceled my chiropractor. Week 6, I'm doing yoga with my daughter. My husband says I look 10 years younger just from not wincing every time I stand up.

Toms is exactly the type of PT I need. He understands and knows how to help me get results and still enjoying it. Huge variety in the sessions means I never get bored and he's always on hand and available to tap into his wealth of knowledge (nutrition and exercise alike). I 100% recommend Toms he absolutely rocks and I always look forwards to our weekly sessions.
