Real Agents. Real Results.

Don't take our word for it. Here's what happens when agents stop chasing leads and start closing them.

The Kollective has been a huge help in growing my business. The leads and opportunities are great, but what I’ve really valued is the support, accountability, and systems behind it. It’s helped me stay consistent, build my pipeline, and turn more opportunities into actual clients. If you’re willing to put in the work, there’s a ton of value in the program.

Being part of Real, and especially the Kollective, has been an incredible experience. One of the greatest perks is working alongside such an amazing group of people who are always willing to support one another. A huge thank you to Jeremiah Kobelka for stepping in and handling the closing of my listing at [address] Sicklerville, NJ, while I was on vacation. Your support is truly appreciated. Teamwork really does make the dream work.

I joined the Kollective in April 2026. Since joining real broker, and the Kollective has been my freedom of autonomy to run my business how I would like. I came in with the expectation to build a team, and with my broker and leadership support. I already have over 10 agents on my team in less than three months. They’ve also allowed me to help run an education and mentoring division at our Haddonfield New Jersey office. And the lead generating platform allows my team members to flourish and exceed their expectations, if their businesses have plateaued. Another amazing aspect is you can stop taking additional leads once you feel like your business is at peak performance levels, in fact it’s encouraged. Incredibly busy agents will go through Epps and flows of needing additional lead generation, and this program gives it to us. The brokers, Meghan and John have been phenomenal to work with, and reply promptly and professionally. When you surround yourself with the best of the best, it encourages you to be the best. Thanks to everyone for the support!

I have been working Zillow Preferred leads for seven years, and they have been a genuine driver of my business. I have grown year over year, and a meaningful share of that growth traces back to people I never would have crossed paths with otherwise. These leads put me in front of buyers and sellers outside my sphere, outside my farm area, and outside the circles I move in every day, and many of them have turned into clients who still call me long after we closed and they refer me to their friends and family. The honest truth is that the leads are not the magic. The work is. You have to answer your own phone. You have to follow up when it is inconvenient. You have to be comfortable with a wide range of personalities, because no two callers want the same thing or communicate the same way, and the ability to adjust is what separates the agents who thrive here from the ones who quit after three months. If you meet people where they are, show up as a real person, and are genuinely excellent at the job, this program pays you back many times over. My advice to any agent considering it is to go in expecting to earn it. Zillow makes the introduction. Everything after that is on you.

From Zillow Leads to Lifelong Clients My experience with the Zillow Preferred program has been a major part of growing my business, especially when I first moved to South Jersey. I’m originally from Oregon, so when I started here, I didn’t have an established sphere of influence or a large network of past clients. One of the biggest advantages of the program is the ability to answer the phone when it works for me and connect directly with motivated buyers. Of course, not every lead is going to buy a home, and not every person is going to be the right fit to work with. That’s okay. The goal isn’t to work with everyone—it’s to sift through the noise, identify the right clients, and build relationships with the people I genuinely want to represent. That’s where I believe the real success happens. Once you connect with the right client, you have to deliver stellar service. My goal is to make every client feel so well taken care of that, by the end of the transaction, they can’t imagine working with anyone else. But the relationship doesn’t stop at closing. I stay in touch, continue to provide value, and make sure my clients know I’m always here for them. When you do that consistently, something really powerful happens: your clients start talking about you. Over the past couple of years, I’ve received close to 20 referrals from past Zillow clients. These aren’t just Zillow leads anymore—they’ve become part of my sphere and have helped my business grow exponentially. Every referral from a past client is treated as a sphere client, with no referral back to Zillow. More importantly, these relationships continue to grow beyond the original transaction and create opportunities for future business with their friends and family. For me, that has been the biggest value of the Zillow Preferred program. It gave me the opportunity to meet people when I didn’t have a large sphere in South Jersey and turn those initial conversations into lifelong relationships. The most important lesson I’ve learned is that the system works, but you have to work the system. It takes time, consistency, and dedication. You have to answer the phone, follow up, provide value, and genuinely care about the people you’re talking to. Don’t be afraid to tell your clients that you’d love the opportunity to help their friends and family, too. You have to dive in and give it your all. Zillow can open the door and put you in front of motivated buyers, but what you do after that is what builds your business. For me, the program has helped me build a sphere that I didn’t have when I moved here, create nearly 20 past-client referrals, and establish relationships that I believe will continue to generate business for years to come. That’s the real success of Zillow Preferred for me: it’s not just about leads—it’s about turning opportunities into relationships, and relationships into a business that continues to grow. -Justin Birtola
