Video transcript: I had a really good experience taking the mini MBA through in women's health. It really left me feeling like I'm confident in my understanding of the women's health industry and landscape. It left me feeling like I'm more connected and plugged in within the women's health industry, like I've expanded my network, like I have many women that I can now reach out to for career support, for networking, for making connections. And our instructors were fantastic not only at presenting information that was relevant and helpful. I took furious notes every week, but also they were there for us outside of class time. If we had questions or wanted to connect one on one, they were available to us and I find that very just invaluable. I felt really cared for and I would highly recommend the course to anyone that wants to play any part in the women's health industry.

Video transcript: Hey everyone. I just wrapped up the In Women's Health mini MBA course and wow, what a great experience. Even as someone who spent the last several years really zeroed in on women's health, these last six weeks gave me new perspectives and really helped me sharpen my focus. And I wanted to take a minute to thank everybody behind it. Jodi and Rachel, you're amazing. And share some of my light bulb moments along with why I think the course is just such a terrific and invaluable investment. So here it goes. For starters, I really think that while this course is marketed as a course, let's be clear, this isn't just a course. Think of it as a networking rocket ship. You'll meet founders, execs, clinicians, innovators, and even if you already work in women's health, I think you're going to find surprising conversations, surprising connection, and really start to see the industry and all parts of it from some new angles. Secondly, as we all know, women's health has just absolutely exploded after the last several years. And getting a fresh lens on your place and also understanding that you could have an entirely new place within the ecosystem is just priceless. So no matter what you're doing today, I think that this course will really help you understand all of the pieces of the puzzle. And even better yet, you'll then be able to plan place those puzzle pieces. Considering an investor mindset, this for me was the biggest unexpected takeaway. It had just never, ever crossed my mind that I personally could be an investor in women's health. And while I might have some experience investing in other ways, investing in women's health is not specifically to try to figure out, you know, there's great financial gain to be had here. Hopefully there is. But that aside, it's really to gain those invaluable insights, to see someone as they are, live in real time, winning some, losing some, having to innovate, having to change course and learning from that and the concept that that could really help you be more of an insider. I thought that was just a really exciting opportunity and certainly one that I hadn't thought about before. And again, even though I've been working in women's health, understanding exactly how nuanced it is from so many perspectives. So even while I sit at a payer, understanding legal policy, so many various just ramifications that we have to consider, I felt like I was able to leave each course not with necessarily always a clear, but let's say, clearer understanding of why that was what it was, what we needed to do to change things for the future. And in the meantime, here's some things we could do that might work or suffice as workaround. Even if you're already in Women's Health, I just think this is a great opportunity to ramp up your energy. I mean, all of us understand there is a plethora of problems to be solved within the Women's Health space, and it's not always the easiest place to sit. The the work is hard, the work is heavy. I have often explained my role is literally pushing a boulder up a hill. That's how it feels sometimes. But to be with all of these other participants, these other women who are just so committed, who are so passionate, who are truly moving the needle and coming up with great, innovative ways to really change what we're talking about, just left me incredibly jazzed up and excited for each time. So if you're using this for anything else, I really hope that the bottom line message is that for anybody who's considering this, whether you're already in women's Health or you're thinking about how you could get into it, that you better go ahead and snag one of those upcoming cohort seats because you're certainly not going to regret it. So thank you again so much for this has just been a tremendous opportunity and happy to share and tell friends about it. Thanks again.

Video transcript: Hi, this is a testimonial for the In Women's Health Mastermind. I just want to say thank you so much to the team and that my cohort was amazing, as I'm sure yours will be as well. It certainly brought actionable tasks for me to do. It helped me learn an awful lot about what I have actually done and enabled me to on articulate that in a meaningful way for both resumes, cover letters and interviews. I would like to also say that the team that participated in the course was certainly inspirational. We had some amazing people in our cohort and I just like to say overall that it's truly confidence boosting and I really can't recommend it enough for you to share your experiences and write down your way of telling your story and getting that immediate feedback from your cohort. It just helps you build a more robust story and in a new and unique way in many instances. So I'd highly recommend this course.

Product Manager
Video transcript: Hey, I'm Divya. I'm a product manager that takes complex, intimidating experiences into ones that customers adopt and love. I would consider myself pretty competent when it comes to navigating a job market. However, I actually found the In Women's Health masterclass super helpful for a few reasons. The first is understanding the market of women's health, knowing what's out there, how jobs are being structured, how networking works, as well as being even able to create an opportunity that doesn't exist. Navigating that world in a structured manner is actually really helpful, and that's what Jodi breaks down in this class. The second thing is that I think most of us know parts of how to navigate the job market, even maybe within women's health. But I would say that this class is the shortest, quickest path to take your efforts and maximize them into impact. And for me, that was translating my product expertise into a role within the women's health space. And last, but definitely not least, is adding structure to what we know is important. So things like resumes, interviews, content, strategy, et cetera, navigating all of that feels like, honestly, a lot of work. But when you have structure, the way that the In Women's Health Masterclass breaks it down for you, it almost feels like you are setting up your efforts in an automated way that brings you back returns in tenfold. And I think that the class essentially forces you to set up that structure. And so you're putting in all this effort with these women that are doing it with you with support and review. And then, you know, when you're free to do this on your own, you know how this works. You know, if you have 10 minutes, where to use your time, why and how wisely you can do that. Yeah, I think this class was. Was really helpful for me, and I would 10 out of 10 recommend it to somebody that's looking to navigate the women's health space.

Megan Loy
Video transcript: Hi, my name is Megan Loy. I am a global medical director with 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. And over the past six weeks I have learned an incredible amount of information as part of the In Women's Health Mini MBA cohort. From a deep dive into the nuances of the American healthcare system with the lens of women's health to all the different care delivery pathways, how the money flows, the payers, the revenue cycle, reimbursement, and an incredible overview of all the different financing that's happening. So really upskilling us all on all of the different fundings. An overview of product and marketing, which of course you can appreciate is quite a delicate subject in the women's health space. It shouldn't have to be, but it was really interesting to dive into why are certain things censored in the women's health landscape and sort of get to tease all of that apart. And then we rounded out the last week of the course looking into the reimbursement and policy space, which again was fascinating. So overall I learned so much. I absolutely loved the access that we had to the expert members of the cohort and the strong community that we built through that. They're an incredible bunch of people and I'm feeling very fortunate that I've made their connections with them. All we learned with from industry leaders in the format of Jod and Rachel, who were just phenomenal. Part of the. Well, one of the things that I really loved about this course was the fact that we were talking about real world examples throughout the six weeks. And because of Jody and Rachel's background, they were intimately involved in a lot of the examples that we were talking about. So we really got to sort of see behind the scenes as to how things were built in certain companies and why something succeeded and lessons learned from some of the other failures that had sort of gone along the way. So it was really interesting just to have, you know, that. That sort of, that close connection through Jody and Rachel to a lot of the examples we were discussing. We also had expert guest speakers and they were just fantastic at again bringing to life, you know, a lot of the content that we were discussing each week. And again, just be being able to have them now as part of my, you know, connections and community was really invaluable. And then what surprised me, I think, was the stack of resources that we have. I still trying to catch up with a lot of the extra information that they gave us as we went along, but I'm not sure I didn't realize this when I first joined the course, but we also have access to all of the materials for life, which is an incredible offering. And not only, you know, the course materials that we went through as part of our cohort, but also the course materials for the cohorts before us we get access to. And they've made the commitment that for future cohorts that they bring on, we also get access to that content. So it's a mini MBA that keeps, keeps on giving, which for me was, you know, just blew my mind that that was such a generous offer and I am so grateful that I know my knowledge will just continue to expand because of having access to this. This course has definitely helped me accelerate my career ambition to get into women's health. It's helped me build my network. It's helped me really understand the key companies in this space. I mean, it's so hard to know where to start and we don't know what we don't know, but they really sort of pulled it all together and so that I could get an appreciation of who the different companies are in this space and what they're all doing. So I could really understand and position myself as to where I would be a best fit and create value for the companies and what they're doing. So now I really know who I want to go and work for and what I can offer them. So that was an invaluable piece of the course for me. So I absolutely, highly, highly, highly recommend it for someone that's been in the industry for 20 years. It far and surpassed my expectations of how valuable it would become for me and especially in my career ambition to get into women's health. So I hope you do sign up and enjoy it. Thanks.

Strategic Partnerships Manager @ Maple
Video transcript: Hi there. My name is Alicia and I wanted to make a video testimonial of my experience of the women's health mini MBA led by Rachel and Jody. So I currently work in strategic partnerships and product in the virtual care space in Canada. And so as a Canadian, I ultimately wanted to take this course to deepen my understanding of the US healthcare landscape. I wanted to understand the nuances of women's health in relation to the whole system and all of its moving parts, because there's quite a bit to it. So the course covered a breadth of really critical topics from the US healthcare landscape to the history of women's health to how care is delivered, how reimbursement mechanisms work, the role of payers, and it also explored the business side of women's health. So we dove into topics like product marketing, finance, policy, legal and regulatory bodies. I think that all of these topics are really helpful if you're a founder in the women's health space, if you in tech in general, if you're an investor or if you're looking to pivot. So one topic that I found really interesting was hospital systems and reimbursement. I think it can be confusing to grasp how things flow throughout the entire system, but Jodi and Rachel did an excellent job at breaking this down. So we learned about, you know, the bare bones, the procedural codes. Who are these decision making bodies that determine reimbursement rates? So learning that, you know, the CMS controls this along with the RUC committee and they're responsible for these discussions. And it's made up of a group of about 31 members with one OB GYN sitting. So it's very shocking how women's health specialties are underrepresented in these discussions. And this in turn leads to unfair reimbursement rates and unfortunately has a trickle down effect. Right. And you know, we're going to see a shortage of OB GYNs in 2025 as a result. And this is one of, you know, the reasons why is reimbursement. It got me thinking a lot about a world where we can create an alternative payment method that doesn't revolve around these RVU codes and really prioritizes women's health. Because the bottom line here is that we need to make women's health more profitable. So I think the lessons from this course are foundational to understanding how to achieve that. And yeah, the course itself, we had two sessions a week for six weeks and they featured founders, industry experts, investors in the space. And they were complimented really thoughtfully with like pre reading materials and videos and little tidbits that you can do outside of the live sessions to really reinforce your knowledge. So overall, I was thoroughly impressed by the depth of content that was shared in six weeks. And you know, I'm leaving with a clear understanding of women's healthcare and the entire ecosystem. And most importantly, I think that now I have a fantastic new community of women that I can lean on in this space. I think that's the best part. So I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to make an impact in women's health. Thank you.

Video transcript: Hi, my name is Christina Nubro. I was in Cohort 2 of the Women's Health Mini MBA course. My background coming into the course was in Impact Tech Healthcare, specifically selling into payers. I had decent understanding of the provider and payer landscape and felt I had knowledge gaps in the business models and policy. Those gaps and more were quickly filled in taking this course. My favorite part of the course is the access to a lifetime of learning and the people and network working to improve the state of women's healthcare. I know that if I have a question, a future venture, or I win the lottery and I want to invest in women's health companies, this network is the first place I'll turn. I'd highly recommend this course to anyone, expert level or novice, because not only will you benefit, but you're also supporting a cause much greater than yourself. Thanks for everything.

Video transcript: Hi. So I came to this class with an academic background, no formal training in business, and I was really happy and surprised to find out, just like how much I learned and how easy it was, I guess, in terms of being able to process the information. We weren't sitting there looking at, like, boring excel sheets or learning formulas in that way, which is, I think, what I might have just associated with business and learning about, like, the models of, hey, this is how, if you're building something from the ground up, these are the different ways that you can build it, these are the different ways you can run it. This is how different people have done it. I think that was really helpful, being able to hear from founders, from other guest speakers in this space, to learn more about policy, to learn more about the ecosystem, to learn more about what's happening, you know, on both political sides. All of that I found to be very helpful. And I would definitely recommend in women's health to anyone who's getting started in this space or has been in this space for some time and is looking for more specific feedback on certain things, because everybody's not an expert in research or business or policy. And so I really liked that you got an introduction to all of these different aspects.
